Thankyou for joining me today, I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, since 2008. My blog will show you how to make cards and projects using Stampin' Up!'s fabulous products. And occasionally random extra stuff (that's the way I roll π€£) Please do sign up to receive my emails, so you get my latest info.
Oh before I forget there is a Designer Series Paper sale on this month, check out out here: DSP Sale
So here are the cards I created, this first one I do in the video, I didn't end up adding anything else to it! I used the Graceful Greenery Vellum for the window under the heart, such pretty vellum! (in case you don't know the blue underlined bits are links for you to check out the products! π
then I went nice & simple with silver and white, and I've left the window without anything in it.
Then thought I'd create a wedding card (now I need someone to get engaged or married!π€£)
And lastly figured I should use up the friend cut out from the first card, I had deliberately cut it from the middle of my piece of Garden green
Today we're checking out the Changing Leaves Online Bundle, it's a really nice bundle for males & females, let's face it leaves are pretty generic! I love that you can stamp, then cut & emboss together.
Here's what I created in the video, I had a sheet of A4 cut in 1/2, then cut down to 6", which I ran through the embossing folder. Then quartered this sheet to create the 4 cards
Then I also showed how to line up the stamps (ideally using the die), in order to cut & emboss them.
Here is the card I made using the stamped, embossed, die cut leaves:
Then the remainder of the embossed card I used my brayer and added colour to the raised sections, to create these cards: Also using some of the Old Olive Glimmer Paper (which is part of a pack of 3 colours) and the Labelled with Love Punch.

I hope this inspires you to craft at home too π
Today we're onto the last of the 3 kits I bought a while back, this one is Your Day to Shine card Kit. Again it's a pretty one, no stamp set this time hence it's cheaper at only $25, but you still get to make 9 cards with it! which at $2.78 per card is still cheaper for a decent card than what you'd buy in a shop! Plus you have the Crafting fix time and you're able to say "yes, I made this"π
So here are the 3 styles of card it officially creates, although I have changed a few elements around, so if you do want to see the proper "official" way click on the link above π€£
this first card is a mini card (with matching envelope) once again beautiful bling with these cards! This card is pretty much true to their suggestion
This next card got turned around a bit as I wasn't terribly happy with their design, I didn't think the butterfly stood out so well on their card (I could be wrong - seems unlikely but you never know.....π€£)
And this last one I had to cut the foliage as I was a bit disappointed that on my card it would have pretty much been hidden by the blue flowers.
Anyway I also created a couple of other cards using these scraps:
Have to admit every time I play with the Ephemera packs I end up getting really into it, I think it's because they're so much fun to pair up together! (and cheap at only $14 a pack, you get heaps to play with!)
Anyway if you missed the video, here it is:
I hope this inspires you to either purchase a kit or play with what you already have
Today I was playing around with this new set I received, and then couldn't resist sharing it with you too.
Oh My Goodness, wow this "Simply Sparkling" is such a great bundle, I have a feeling I'll be using it a fair bit in the future! It's an "online exclusive", which simply means it's not in the catalogue, but it is in the "online catalogue" as it were.
Anyway onto the creations.....
This bubbles die is the main reason I was so attracted to this set, and these are the 2 mini cards I made in the video: How cool is this die?! (so exciting)
I have to admit the little half orange segment looked so much like a mini pizza when I first cut it out...... something to try.......
I was trying to work out what the little heart shaped piece is meant to be, and have now worked out it's meant to be a peach - Ah ha light bulb moment! π€£ (also works well as a heart!) The dies are absolutely fabulous!
Anyway I also had to play with the drink can which is part of the set, so here's what didn't go into the video.... Again how fabulous is the drink can, with the pull tab, and straw, I've paired it up with the Bright & Beautiful Designer Series Paper, which goes so well with this bundle!
And last but not least I had to use up the other pieces I'd stamped and cut, so created this fun card.

I hope this inspires you to create (and feel free to purchase this bundle through my online store π- if you click on one of the links above it will take you to it)
Here are the cards we'll be creating at my classes in August.
Class Dates are: Tuesday 6th at 2pm (it's been a bit all over the place the start time, so we'll try 2pm this time π€£) Then Thursday 8th at 7pm (both these are at my classroom in Laanecoorie), then Saturday 10th at 10.30am at the Wattle City Church in Maryborough (Argyle Road)
Card 1 uses Latte Love Bundle, I did eventually succumb to buying itπ€£ figured at some point coffee/tea would come in handy.
Next onto a set that I really loved when I first saw the catalogue called You are Beautiful. The sayings are lovely I'm planning at some point to mix and match some of the words in the sayings to create "You are Amazing"
And another set I succumbed to is the Adventurous Sky bundle, although I haven't used the dies in this card, I totally recommend getting the bundle as you'd definitely use the dies too! and I figured the Sweetly Scripted saying went well with this card. I also rather like the Adhesive Backed Textured Dots that I've added to the propeller middles
And that's it folksπ
Hopefully you can come and join in one of the classes, but if not, I hope this inspires you to create!
Today I thought I'd break open a new kit - Expressions of Kindness. Oh my goodness this kit is absolutely gorgeous! I love that the most beautiful card base is actually double sided and has the pattern on the back as well as the front (very handy if you're happy to cut it in 1/2 and pop it on spare card bases, so you can make way more than the kit is intended for!) It also comes with a mini stamp pad and stamp set, bonus! π
these are the 2 card styles that the kit officially makes: Oh and how gorgeous are the matching envelopes?!π
then I cut one of the (more beautiful) cards in 1/2, the front of the card has the gold foiling on the front of it, I'm a bit partial to gold! π€£ I didn't change much with it, I just used the ribbon flat across the card, rather than folded up behind the saying, and gold heat embossed the saying.
Then the reverse side doesn't have the gold foiling. I had to trim the card down to fit on the base card, so I decided to add a portion of the side along the bottom, and used a spot of gold heat embossing for the saying again π
I am quite sure there's so much more you can do with this kit, I did see someone had cut up the pieces and used them in a scrapbook too (that's very clever!)
However, if you missed my video, and want to find out what my references to "hairy beard stamp" are.....
