Cards for August Classes

 Hi There Creators,

Being ultra-organised (or so it feels) and putting up the cards we'll be creating at classes in August.  If you can make it, the Laanecoorie Class will be Friday 1st at 1pm, and the Maryborough one will be Saturday 2nd at 10.30am.  Let me know if you plan to be there.

Remember to click on the links below if you want to see the products in all their gloryπŸ˜ƒ

First up is this card, Oh my goodness the Extraordinary Flora Bundle and Washi Tape are amazing! I've teamed it up with the Inspiring Imperfections bundle, and the Misty Moonlight two-tone cardstock

Extraordinary Flora, Inspiring Imperfections, Stampin' Up!

Next up using the Inspiring Imperfections bundle again, and the funny Long Time No See Stamp set, I couldn't resist creating a Genie in a bottle 🀣  teamed up with the words from Birthday Celebration Stamp set, and the Sweet Jar Builder Punch to create the lid

Card 3 uses the hilarious Not 29 Anymore Stamp set, I knew I had to have this one as soon as I saw it! Also uses the candles from the Sweet Jar Bundle (the punch used in the card above)

Not 29 Anymore, Sweet Jar Bundle, Stampin' Up!

Last but not least this card uses the Charming Day Bundle, which I used in one of my videos not long ago, gee these dies are pretty!

And that's it folks!
I hope if you can't make it to either of the classes, that these cards inspire you to create at home.

Something Saturday - Louvre Windows Card

 Hi there Creators

Today I thought I'd show you how to create this Louvre Windows card (little bit of trivia, did you know Louvres were invented back in the middle ages around 1500 years ago?, they were made of wood and put on pitched roofs to let out smoke, and increase circulation)πŸ˜ƒ

Anyway moving on.... I saw these kind of cards at the Picture to Page show, and of course the company selling them had dies to cut out all the components, but I figured I could make it work my own way.

And so Voila: I made this card up before the video using the Celebratory Sips Designer paper (see all the links below)

Celebratory Sips DSP, Stampin' Up!
and here it is opened up (little difficult to photograph!)

So this is the bit that's obscured above!

Then in the video this is the card I made up, this time using the Beautiful Gallery Designer Paper (again links below)

Beautiful Gallery, Stampin' Up!

and the middle..... as you can see I used a bit more of the designer paper to cut out and add to the middle sections

Beautiful Gallery, Stampin' Up!, Textured Note Dies

and again the obscured bit

Measurements:
You'll need 3 pieces of A6 card (10.5cm x 14.8cm)
cut one in 1/2 so you have 2 pieces of 10.5x 7.4cm and score 1 end of each 1cm in (see my mud map workings then if all is as clear as mud, feel free to watch the video 🀣
You'll also need 2 pieces to pop inside the windows I made these 10.2cm x 6cm and 10.2cm x 6.5cm

and here's the video....

I hope this inspires you to have a go too.

Cards for April Classes

 Hi there Creators

Yay, sharing our cards for my April Classes now, so I don't forget when my Mum is over!

Class dates in April are Friday 4th 1pm in my classroom Laanecoorie, and Saturday 5th at 10.30am at Wattle City Church Maryborough. Don't forget to book your place!

First up we have this card made with the Spring Corners Bundle (it's an Online bundle in case you're wondering where it arrived from!)  I was quite taken with the dies in particular, but of course some of them cut out images, and after having seen these cute little balloons on someone else's card I was hooked!🀣 also used the delicate Blooming pearls, I felt it needed something that wasn't really bold with this set!

Spring Corners Bundle, Stampin' Up!

Next up We have this card using Birthday Celebration Stamps, and One More Year Stamps, I love using the Brights colours with the One More Year Stamps, I really feel it lends itself to bright and fun!  Inside the card is a surprise saying of " At least you're not as old as you'll be next year" 🀣

Birthday Celebration Stamps, One More Year Stamps, Stampin' Up!

3rd Card is this chest, I've used the Tags to Go Dies to create the locked chest, with a key to unlock their wishes πŸ˜‰ the saying comes from Birthday Celebrations, and the Reindeer Memories Two-tone cardstock (which is reduced and on the last chance list) is embossed with the Dashing Designs 3D embossing Folder and then sanded. Oh also, some Timeless Plaid Designer Series Paper in the background!  Thought it might make a good guys card.

Tags to Go dies, Dashing Designs 3D EF, Stampin' Up!

Last but not least, is a choice card: (either/or)  As it takes a bit to colour in the turtles and starfish, so I thought that way people can choose their colour scheme and what they want on it!  I've used the Sea Turtles stamp set, Dotted Circles 3D embossing Folder, Labelled with Love punch (or at least 1/2 of it!) and the Tags of Thanks stamps.

And that's it!  I hope you can make it to class but if not I hope these inspire you to create.

God Bless love
