Something Saturday - 2 from 1 Stripes & Trees

 Hi there Creators

Today I'm doing one cut with my Designer Paper and creating 2 different cards - gotta love it when you can get 2 for 1 😍

However, just before I do show you what I created,

There is the most amazing Joining special that has only a few days left!,

Why would you want to join Stampin' Up! (and my team?)

  • because we have some lovely people in the team (and Stampin' Up! in general) who I know you would enjoy getting to know for starters.
  • The deal this month only, is pick out your choice of products to the value of $235 and only pay $60!!  OR choose $344 of goodies and only pay $169!  both AMAZING DEALS 😃,
  • Then you get an ongoing discount of 20% which rises when you hit certain points, you can potentially make some money on the side (depending on whether you want to run it as a business).

Now back to todays sharing's I have used the Elegant Pine Snowflakes Designer Paper (so pretty!)

I have scored my cardstock first using my Stampin' Trimmer, then created score lines 1/2" apart, and cut my Designer Paper to 1cm pieces, which then fits nicely into the 1/2" slots, anyway this is what I created initially: I've used the words from Traditional Labels Stamp set for this card, and what's a Christmas Card without bling?  I picked out the faceted Snowflakes (mainly because they're new and just arrived🤣)  You absolutely need the Paper Trimmer if you want to create even score lines!

Then I discovered that I had some extra bits that got cut off from the sides, and so I created this.....

I'm hoping they kind of look like Christmas Trees, you know the ones people make using packing crates?  Am I stretching the imagination too much? this time I've used the aptly named Merry Christmas Stamp.

then I moved onto making the video and created these 2, I think the scored lines show up better on the white cardstock.

and this time as I was actually concentrating, I managed to get the cut off pieces even, so I could get 2 even looking trees for this second card.
