Something Saturday - Click Clack Concertina Card

Image
Hi there Creators Well I was sitting last night wondering what to do for my Something Saturday, and playing around with a bit of paper, ended up designing this card, I've made similar cards before like the cascade cards, this is probably a bit more basic, but I'm happy with it and it's way simpler to create, but still packs a cool Woah factoršŸ¤£  I've used Sentimental Christmas Designer Series Paper which is on the last chance list. I decided it needed a sentiment so picked out this one from Sweetest Star Stamp set (last chance list again), because it has 6 words (1 for each panel!šŸ˜ƒ) and these Adhesive backed Snowflake Assortment are also on the last chance list and happen to be reduced to 1/2 price (woo hoo!) My First play with Special Reason Bundle

Hi Everyone, well I thought I'd share quickly my first play with my new Stamp set and Dies, Special Reason Stamp set, and Stylish Stems Framelit dies (Special Reason bundle) With this card I have used the 2 flower dies to cut out from the face of the card, although I have to admit they didn't "pop" in the way I thought they would, I tried adding coloured card under them, but the only one that really popped was black and that wasn't quite the impression I wanted (black flowers - lol), so after stamping all over the card, I decided to daub over top of the cut out pieces, which seems to have worked ok.  I ended up adding Vellum under the cut out's  so you could write in the card without it showing too much.  It's probably not my absolute favourite card, but it's growing on me - lol, what do you think? I'll try and find some more time soon to play with it again....... watch this space as they say I hope it inspires you to create God Bless lov...
