Something Saturday - Origami Envelopes

Image
Hi There Creators, Guess what? it's that time of the week again for Something Saturday!😃 This week I happened to be scrolling through Facebook and came across this origami envelope quick video, so I have deciphered the video (you know how they do it and it's so fast!) And I've worked out if you do it with 12x12" cardstock you get an envelope worthy of a card, and a 6x6" piece gives you a gift card sized envelope. Here they are: then I'll try and explain how to make them...... This first one is made using one of the 12x12" pieces of  Unbounded Beauty Designer Series Paper and this smaller one uses one of the 6x6" pieces of Full of Life Designer Series Paper Now, how to create these envelopes: take your square piece of designer cardstock, and fold in 1/2 diagonally Open it up and fold one side in to the middle: then fold as shown: open up the bottom flap and fold in the sides fold up the bottom tuck the point bit inside the envelope (you might want t...

Something Saturday - Magic Slider Card

Image
Hi There Creators, Today I'm showing how I make a magic slider card, here is the original one I made up using the Bright & Beautiful Suite :   with the stamps I've used my Brights Stampin' Write Marker s to create the rainbow effect by colouring directly onto the stamps, then you huff on the stamp to put moisture back onto it, then stamp it. Then this is the one I made up in the video using the Online Exclusive Trucking Along Bundle , so cool, it's a punch and stamp set.   I've used the Gold Celebrations Specialty Designer Series "paper" I'd call it acetate!  as I thought it was kind of fun having the printed acetate instead of plain, and there's a bonus that one side is gold and the other is silver 😊  I've also stamped directly onto the Herringbone Ribbon , I love that you can do that with this ribbon as it's quite smooth, and wide. I promised the measurements on here, so here goes, you'll need: A 1/2 piece of A4 (cut lengthways...

Magic Slider card using Delicate Dahlias

Image
Hi there Creators,  my "Something Saturday" video this Saturday was on this Magic Slider Card, in the video I mention that I'll pop the instructions/measurements here too. However first up the photo....  As you can see I ended up making it in 3 different colours, I just think it's so pretty using the Delicate Dahilas stamp set!  Remember you only have until the end of this month (September) to get this stamp set as it's one of the Sale-a-Bration sets, to get it for free you need to purchase $180 of goodies then you can pick it for Free!  I promised the dimensions and I've done a Photgraphic "journey" of some of the way I've made it, so I'll pop this below, If you want to see the products I've used click on the links at the bottom and you can easily add the ones you need to your shopping card. First up you'll need a 1/2 sheet of A4 (cut longways), should measure 29.7cm x 21cm score it at 9.9cm in from both sides, so it folds into 3 eq...
