Something Saturday - Fancy Fold Card

 Hi There Creators Today I'm showing you how to make the card that Paula (Yellow Bear Stamping) was showing off when we were together in New Zealand (couple of weeks ago in my video) see the video here: Live Video with Paula I have no idea if it has a special name, she found it on Connie Stewarts blog (from USA), so now I'm borrowing it and changing it (as I do....)  see my measurements down the bottom. Here is the "original style" card that I made: (click the links to see the products) This one uses Nested Essentials Dies , Courage & Faith Stamps , and Timeless Plaid Designer Paper on a backing cardstock of Pebbled Path (I'm going to be so sad to see that colour go when the In colours retire in May!) then in the video I (kind of) made this one: which uses Wildly Flowering Designer Paper , the same dies ( Nested Essentials) , and a new Stamp set: Tags of Thanks . then I made my sideways revised version....  for this I've used the rather lovely Everyday H...

Stampin' Up! Sneak Peek of 2017 Occasions Catalogue

Hi Everyone, To continue the sneaky peeky bits...  Jenny Stewart (one of my downline) came round today and successfully made 3! cards whilst I did a heap of prepping work for my 8 Christmas cards class tomorrow, and finally had the opportunity to create 1 card! - well 1 is better than none, and Jenny did say I could share her cards with you all😊  So, I thought I'd share Jenny's cards first, I'm going to get to play with this balloon at some point! She has used the Up & Away Thinlit dies for this card and the matching Lift Me Up stamp set (no links at the mo, as it's not available till January 4th, unless you are a demonstrator)  however feel free to join my team, this is just ONE of the many perks of being a "demo"!   This next card (I might add Jenny likes Purple!)  She's used  the Blooms and Bliss Designer Series Paper (this one is current, in the annual catalogue, hence the link!)  She's also used The Balloon Pop- Up Thinlit dies, a...

Stampin' Up! Christmas Cards for classes in December

Hi Everyone, Welcome to my new blog, I'm hoping to be able to work out how to offer much more with this blog! Here are the cards I'll be teaching you in December (obviously focusing on Christmas)! First up is this cute Cookie Cutter Christmas Card using the Cookie Cutter Christmas Bundle isn't the reindeer gorgeous?  I've also used the Festive Textured impressions embossing folder   and the Layering Ovals Framelits . Next up is this beautiful Silver bells card, I'm pleased with this card, I hope you like it too I couldn't help thinking of the Christmas song my Mum used to sing when I was young called Silver Bells!  I took a close up of the bells so you can see that they are silver embossed too. This card uses the Seasonal Bells bundle  and the Softly Falling Embossing folder  Oh and to cut the saying at the bottom (which is part of the stamp set) I've used the Bunch of Banners Framelit dies . I'm so pleased with the cards for this month...
