Hi there Creators Well I was sitting last night wondering what to do for my Something Saturday, and playing around with a bit of paper, ended up designing this card, I've made similar cards before like the cascade cards, this is probably a bit more basic, but I'm happy with it and it's way simpler to create, but still packs a cool Woah factor🤣  I've used Sentimental Christmas Designer Series Paper which is on the last chance list. I decided it needed a sentiment so picked out this one from Sweetest Star Stamp set (last chance list again), because it has 6 words (1 for each panel!😃) and these Adhesive backed Snowflake Assortment are also on the last chance list and happen to be reduced to 1/2 price (woo hoo!) Ok, onto measurements.... You'll need a sheet of A4 for the base card, score it at 9.9cm either end, then cut in 1/2 at 10.5cm, fold so each piece is concertina'd into 1/3rd's then each folded piece needs a cut that goes 1/2 way up the card (in the...

 Hi there Creators Today I got inspired by a gorgeous card sent to me, and I have to say my card is nothing like the one I was sent, partly because I used completely different measurements and turned it on it's side, as they say in Thailand, "same same but different" 🤣 So this is how my card turned out:  I've used the new Online paper Marbled Elegance Specialty Designer Series Paper .  Oh my goodness isn't it gorgeous?! I've nicked one of the sayings from Sweetest Star Bundle to add to the top, and the fabulous Drusy Embellishments (Oh I really hope they don't retire!)  And I thought this ribbon was still current, oops!  Hi there Creators Well after teaching the wreath the other day I had an idea....... Actually I'm really happy with the way it turned out, and potentially if we don't get our sitting room painted properly soon it could be the only Christmas decoration I can get to in the house🤣 currently everything is packed away in the "playroom" at the back of which is all the Christmas dec's! Ah well the painting looks good so far, and I'm loving the new carpet! What happened at my second class was one of the ladies brought these lovely wooden wreaths to make hers on instead, so she had a spare and I could just imagine what it would look like with the stars in the middle and some sheer fabric of some sort for them to sit on.  A delve into my fabric cupboard and voila!  I found the gorgeous sheer but patterned fabric, stapled it onto the back of the wreath and away we go.....   Hi there Creators Wowsers December already, and Christmas is just round the corner! I made up 4 cards then decided I wasn't happy with one of them, so switched it out for a card that is literally the star of the show!  As it does require a fair bit of cutting on my behalf I really need to know who's coming a few days in advance so I can have the right amount of kits made.  Hi there Creators,  Today I'm showing off this card I designed the other day, which has a pop out element with stars on it, and a dangly bit!  The Stars come from Sweetest Star bundle , (I always want to call it chubby Star bundle 🤣)  I've used the Season of Green & Gold Specialty Designer Series Paper , and Peaceful Season Bundle (stamps & dies). You'll need an A4 base card, cut down the middle and scored in 1/2 to create a long card The outside of the card uses for the front Panel A plain colour card 14.3cm x 6cm, then an overlay of Designer Paper 2" x 13.8cm, which has the "Christmas" die cut out of it. Inside the card, you need 2 plain pieces 14.3cm x 10cm, and 2 Designer Paper pieces 13.8cm x 9.5cm. The Mechanism part is 14.8cm x 2cm folded ...

Hi There Creators, If you've ever made a gatefold card, with a ribbon that attaches all the way round it to keep it shut, you'll know it gets to it's recipient who then can't redo a bow, and it never quite looks the same again 🤣 So I was contemplating this as I was playing around with a gatefold card the other day and thought why couldn't the tied bow just be a faux one? that doesn't actually keep the card closed, but looks good? Enter the "Gatefold Bow Card" (cos I didn't know what else to call it🤣)  There is probably not an easy way to be perfectly honest to make your bows look good, what it takes is practice and playing around with it once it is made (sometimes it takes a well placed mini glue dot 😉)  I used some of the Iconic Celebrations Designer Series Papers they come in 6x6" and designed to be suitable for all occasions.
