Something Saturday - Hooray for Honeycomb Kit

Image
Hi there Creators, Today I thought we'd take a look at one of the new Kits that Stampin' Up! has brought out, it's really fun!, the name "honeycomb" kind of gives it away🤣 There are 9 cards to create, and it's a nice simple kit, would make an excellent gift for anyone who is thinking of starting off with card-making, there's no stamping involved - it's all "stick it together" and everything is included to do this.  At $32 it works out to $3.56 per card (which let's face it is pretty cheap for a card these days!) So here are the cards you can make (3 of each): Don't you just love the matching envelopes? The front of each card has clear embossed shiny bits on it (most obvious on the rainbow card at the top! with my photography) And there you have it, I haven't had the chance to play around and see what else I can create with this kit yet, so if you get it and do play around, let me know what you do! If you missed the video here it

Hi there Creators, If you order my ClassCards@Home kit this month you'll be receiving these cards to create at home, for each of these, you'll need to use your own Stamps, Inks and Glues but I'll be providing all the papers pre-cut along with instructions and videos.  Click on the link below by Friday 1st May to order and pay for your kit, I will get the kits all organised over that weekend and mail them out on Monday 4th. With Mothers day on the horizon, I thought this might be suitable with a appropriate saying, you'll be choosing a colour and saying that you have at home.  This card uses the beautiful Tasteful background dies , and the really pretty Woven Threads Sequin Assortment .  Oh and also the Stitched rectangle dies .  I've called this card "Tasteful Things" Card #2 could also be used as a Mothers Day card if you wanted to, this one uses the Tropical thinlits , and I did discover that the Label Me Fancy Punch does sit nicely on top

Class cards for June

Hi there Creators, Well officially we'll be into the new Annual Catalogue, so I can finally start using some of my new goodies! lol, so guess what?.... Card 1: New colours and new stamp set (what a combination!!) this set is called Daisy Lane, although I keep thinking Penny Lane (umm Beetles keep coming back lol), so I'm introducing the new colours Terracotta Tile, Seaside Spray and Pretty Peacock in this card (nice aren't they?)  and yes I spy a new ribbon too (eek so exciting)  Conveniently enough this stamp set happens to coordinate with a punch I already have (yay), the Daisy Punch, but wait there's another punch coming for the smaller daisy too (can't wait to get that one too!)  Have to admit this next set wasn't my favourite... till I started playing around with the dies, Ohhh, I'll just leave my comment at that! lol  the stamp set is called "It starts with Art" and the dies are called Arts and Crafts dies Oh and it comes as a bundle y

Daisy Lane Stamp set

Hi Creators, Today I thought I'd mix the old with the new, New Stamp set and punch - old colours. Stampin' Up have a 3 Tier's of Stampers system currently, Beginner Stamper, Casual Crafter and Avid Stamper (no prizes for guessing which category I'm in lol).   However I thought yesterday I'd try out a series of 3 cards 1 for each category using exactly the same stamp set and accessories. So for the beginner Stamper, it's kept as basic as possible #simplestamping I've picked 3 colours, a pair of Paper Snips (scissors) my Daisy Lane stamp set and an embellishment (Oh and a dimensional) The colours I chose are Berry Burst, Tranquil Tide and Powder Pink, which sadly we're saying goodbye to as they are the In Colours that are retiring with this current catalogue :(  I've stamped the stem first, then added the large flower and saying, the small flower is stamped on spare Vanilla card, and cut out with the paper snips, and then it covers the gap betw
