Hello all you lovely Creators!
Sorry I haven't been around much, this is what holidays do lol.
Coming up this Saturday is my Christmas in July Mega Class, I have 10 coming to it, and it should be so much fun I'm really looking forward to it, we're making 20 Christmas cards. I'll show you a little snippet...
Anyway that's not what I'm here for today, I'm here to show you how to put together your "tag" card, the tag is what I send you/ give you on your bag when you receive your order, then I pop in some other bits to make it into a card.
So..... here is the tag you'll be receiving:
And here is the end card
The tag is cut out of the card to begin with, and the Stitched Rectangle Dies are fabulous in that they give you the stitched look on the outside and the inside (gotta love that) and there's heaps of them in the pack - well 13 seems like heaps! lol
Anyway moving on... I have then stuck in another sheet of white behind the gap (you could use a different colour if you wanted to, I'm providing white) I've used the Wish for it all stamp set to create the tag (so pretty) with some of the Whisper White Polka Dot tulle ribbon in the corner to hold it onto your bag (makes a nice accent on the card too) And of course the 2 daisy punches, The larger "Daisy Punch" and the smaller "Medium Daisy Punch" these will be random pink colours, layer them up. Then in the middle I've used one of the gorgeous Gold Faceted Gems or you might end up with a Silver Faceted gem! then the whole lot is up on dimensionals which gives it a nice shadow effect.
And that's how you put together your tag card for July (of course if you haven't ordered from me this month you'll miss out on one of these!) but the good news is that we're only 1/2 way through the month, so you've still got time π
Ok well that's it from me for now, I hope this inspires you to create (and possibly order lol)
God Bless love

Thankyou for joining me today, I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, since 2008. My blog will show you how to make cards and projects using Stampin' Up!'s fabulous products. And occasionally random extra stuff (that's the way I roll π€£) Please do sign up to receive my emails, so you get my latest info.

Cards for Regular Classes in September
Hi Everyone
Gee we're almost at the end of August already! On 1st September the new Holiday catalogue is officially released (yay!) If you are coming to one of my classes next month, I will have them ready for everyone to have one, if not and you'd like me to send you a catalogue - let me know!
Class dates are: Maryborough Sat 2nd 10am, Kangaroo Flat Wed 6th 10.30am, and Laanecoorie Wed 13th 7.30pm.
Ok, well, I may have delved into the new catalogue for a couple of our cards this month lol
first up, one of my new favourite stamps: Painted Harvest:
this is one of those 2 step stampin' sets where you stamp one image then the next one directly over top, for the flower and for the leaves (Oh it's so pretty!) and, get this, there's a punch that goes with the leaves! (how exciting!!, it comes as a bundle too π)
Card #2 New stuff again *Hooray!!*
Thought we'd better have a Christmas card in the mix as it's leading up to Christmas (only 4 months!) this one uses the new SnowFlake Sentiments, beautiful set! (the dies that go with it are gorgeous too) Also used Versmark resist technique on this one, with the glossy cardstock, and a touch of Silver Metallic edge ribbon
Card #3, I saw someone else had used the daisy punch to create a cute skirt for the dancing girl in "Beautiful You", and I just couldn't resist trying it myself, so here's my version
Isn't she gorgeous?, then I've used the Lovely Laurel Thinlits and the Powder Pink Shimmer Ribbon.
Ok, last but not least, I dug out the Paisleys and Posies Stamp set, and my new Happy Birthday Die
this one has a bit of a fancy fold, and I love the effect of colouring in some of the inside of the stamps with the white. And the Happy Birthday really stands out fabulously (I think)
Which is your favourite?
I hope these cards inspire you to create in your space, and I'd love to see anyone who can make it to my classes - let me know if you need more details.
God Bless love

Card for June's Classes
Hi Everyone,
Yea! I'm organised enough to be able to post the cards that we'll be making in June, the dates for classes this month are Saturday 3rd June at 10am in Maryborough, Wednesday 7th at 10.30am in Kangaroo Flat, and Wednesday 7th June 7.30pm in Laanecoorie, I'll confirm that in an email to everyone! I'll also being going down to Geelong well Corio to be exact to do a class down there (that's on Monday 5th June) if you're interested in that class let me know and I'll contact the lady who's organising it to see how much extra space there is.
If you've missed the excitement, the new catalogue is going to be released on 1st June, therefore I have been able to use a heap of *new stuff* how exciting!!
First up is this card using the new Daisy punch, and the Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper (so you'll have a choice what goes down the bottom) and there is a lovely stamp set that goes with it too, which is what the saying and the tiny flowers are from "Daisy Delight stamp set".
Card #3 now we're mixing in some of the current stuff with new stuff.... there is this new set of 3 dies "Lovely Words thinlits", behind it I've used the Colour Theory Designer Series Paper, the pretty flower on the right is from a new hostess set called Feathery Friends (makes sense when you see the whole set, lol) and the saying in the left hand corner is from Thoughtful Banners and uses the Duet Banner Punch to cut it out (and yeah I finally got to link something to my store LOL! Oh currently the stamp set and Banner punch come as a bundle till 1st June, so you can get 10% off them with that!
Ok, we're up to the last card! wow doesn't time fly fast! again this is a mixture of new and old (having said that the "old" stamp set is actually new to me) anyway, the saying is from Watercolour Words (oh the computer and I are going to have all sorts of issues with how to spell colour - lol) The other "old" thing is the Balloon bouquet Punch, then we move onto new stuffπ Wood Words for the bits in the balloons and Seasonal Layer Thinlits for the chair.
The jury is out at the moment as to which is my favourite of these cards, although I'm veering towards the last one with the chair and #2 the Japanese'y' one, which are your favourites?
Oh and please could someone have another go at posting a comment on my blog as I still don't seem to have received any, and I'm a bit worried that my settings aren't right! Thanks
I hope this inspires you to create,
God Bless love

Card #2 is this one using the Colourful Seasons Stamp set, and the Pretty Label Punch, I rather liked the way the flowers on the branch look a bit Japanese'ish', and we'll have fun creating the scallops on the side of the card (trust me......)
