Cards for August Classes

Hi there Creators,
Well I've made the decision to re-commence classes in August in my classroom, with a max of 3 participants, (unless we get locked down further between now and the dates!)

With that in mind, these are the cards we'll be creating:
A couple of male'ish cards:
This Camouflage Background Stamp is such a fabulous background!  and the saying is from Happiest of Birthdays, which again is a fabulous stamp set, I like the way the sayings are so big, and clear.

I've used one of the Holiday Rhinestone Basic jewels in the i of birthday, such lovely colours in these jewels!

Card #2 this is the first time I've got round to using this "Whiskey Business" stamp set, and I really wanted to convey looking in through a window at the aftermath of a party scene, with the balloons (Balloon Bouquet Punch) bumping up against the ceiling and 1/2 a drink left. (hoping I achieved it!)

Card #3 I've not used this stamp much either, from Ornate Style stamp set.  I really didn't want people to have to colour the whole thing in, as I know not everyone is keen on colouring in!  So I decided to use the new Rectangular Postage Stamp Punch, and colour in the bits on those.  Then I figured people can choose their saying from the Itty Bitty Greetings,  add a couple of the Champagne Rhinestone Jewels, and it lifts the card!

Last but not least, I've started on my Christmas Card countdown (it was too tempting not to use some of my new Christmassy stuff from the August to December Mini Catalogue!)   This one uses the Winter Snow embossing folder, the Pointsettia Dies, and from the annual catalogue the Lovely Labels Pick a Punch.  Oh and not to mention the beautiful Blue Adhesive Backed Gem (mini catalogue).

So I am looking at Tuesday evenings (7.15pm) or Wednesdays and Thursdays, (10am or 2pm) and Saturdays as my days to offer this class, let me know which day in August suits you, and we'll book it in๐Ÿ˜Š  I will only be offering it in my classroom at this stage the cost for the class is $20.  You'll receive the usual written instructions and envelopes to go with your card.

I'd love to get together with you, but if you can't make it I hope that these cards inspire you to create in your space.

Stay well, God Bless love

Class cards for March 2020

Hi there Creators,
honestly where do the months go to?!  Well in March I have the usual 3 classes (back to normal schedule) Wednesday 4th 10.30am in Laanecoorie, Thursday 5th 7.30pm in Laanecoorie and Saturday 7th 10am in Maryborough.  Also in March is the Picture to Page show on 14th and 15th (this is in Kangaroo flat at the Primary School)

Anyway on to the cards we'll be making at the classes.....
First up: this card uses the beautiful Morning Star stamp set it's one of the Distinktive stamp sets which means it has a special texture that gives added depth and dimension in a single step, creating photo-realistic images (so cool!)   I've also used the rather cute Golden Honey Specialty Designer Series Paper teamed up with a bit of Gold foil cardstock (as the Golden Honey has gold foil accents in it)  The Golden Honey Paper is actually a Sale-a-Bration product, so you do have to spend $90 to get it for Free, (you can't just buy it singly).
Next up, I had a request to use these little fellas from Special Someone stamp set, and as my new dies "Special Day Dies" for it hadn't arrived by the time I was making this my mind was wandering off to how we were going to celebrate Sam's Birthday (who in fact is 9 today!)  and I was thinking of balloons...... and those weight things that keep them on the table (when they've got Helium in them)  So here we are.... Special Someone Stamp set, and the Balloon Bouquet Punch, I rather like it!
Onto creation #3 again I'm using a Sale-a-Bration product, this lovely cake from Happy Birthday to You Stamp set is so lovely to colour in, I've used the Shimmery White paper, so we can use the Aqua Painters, and watercolour it in. Oh and I've also used the really pretty From My Heart Faceted Gems.
And last but not least I thought maybe we could do a little something different, so we're making this cute handbag, cut and stamped using the Dressed to Impress bundle, it really is a cute little handbag to put a special present into for someone, I also think it would make a nice little accessory for a small bridesmaid to carry down the aisle, or even for a spot of confetti!  Anyway after making mine I started wondering if it tied in with St Patricks day as I seem to have made it rather green (green being one of my favourite colours! lol) conveniently it kind of does tie in as it's on 17th March ๐Ÿ˜†
And that is the line up for the 3 March classes!  I'll aim to get another one done to show you Rosalies and my class projects for Picture to Page..... stay tuned!
But for now I hope these inspire you to create, and if you can make to any of the classes, do let me know!
Happy Creating,
God bless love

Card for June's Classes

Hi Everyone,
Yea! I'm organised enough to be able to post the cards that we'll be making in June, the dates for classes this month are Saturday 3rd June at 10am in Maryborough, Wednesday 7th at 10.30am in Kangaroo Flat, and Wednesday 7th June 7.30pm in Laanecoorie,    I'll confirm that in an email to everyone!  I'll also being going down to Geelong well Corio to be exact to do a class down there (that's on Monday 5th June) if you're interested in that class let me know and I'll contact the lady who's organising it to see how much extra space there is.

If you've missed the excitement, the new catalogue is going to be released on 1st June, therefore I have been able to use a heap of *new stuff* how exciting!!
First up is this card using the new Daisy punch, and the Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper (so you'll have a choice what goes down the bottom) and there is a lovely stamp set that goes with it too, which is what the saying and the tiny flowers are from "Daisy Delight stamp set".
Card #2 is this one using the Colourful Seasons Stamp set, and the Pretty Label Punch, I rather liked the way the flowers on the branch look a bit Japanese'ish', and we'll have fun creating the scallops on the side of the card (trust me......)

Card #3 now we're mixing in some of the current stuff with new stuff....  there is this new set of 3 dies "Lovely Words thinlits", behind it I've used the Colour Theory Designer Series Paper, the pretty flower on the right is from a new hostess set called Feathery Friends (makes sense when you see the whole set, lol) and the saying in the left hand corner is from Thoughtful Banners and uses the Duet Banner Punch to cut it out (and yeah I finally got to link something to my store LOL! Oh currently the stamp set and Banner punch come as a bundle till 1st June, so you can get 10% off them with that!
Ok, we're up to the last card! wow doesn't time fly fast! again this is a mixture of new and old (having said that the "old" stamp set is actually new to me)  anyway, the saying is from Watercolour Words  (oh the computer and I are going to have all sorts of issues with how to spell colour - lol)  The other "old" thing is the Balloon bouquet Punch, then we move onto new stuff๐Ÿ˜€ Wood Words for the bits in the balloons and Seasonal Layer Thinlits for the chair.
The jury is out at the moment as to which is my favourite of these cards, although I'm veering towards the last one with the chair and #2 the Japanese'y' one, which are your favourites?

Oh and please could someone have another go at posting a comment on my blog as I still don't seem to have received any, and I'm a bit worried that my settings aren't right!  Thanks

I hope this inspires you to create,
God Bless love
