Something Saturday - Brightest Birthday Kit

Image
Hi there Creators Today we're checking out one of the new kits, I have to say WOW!, maybe it's the holographic blingy bits (ooooo bling....🤣)  if you're a regular reader of my blog or watch my YouTube or Facebook channels then you'll know I can't resist bling.  Anyway check out the kit here: Brightest Birthday Kit And here are the cards it makes.... oh and their matching (also blingy) envelopes. Then you'll notice on the first card with the balloons it has a box that has the holographic outline, which is actually a sticker, so in the video I show you how to get the sticker off and onto a separate piece of card without having to pick it off and re-piece it yourself. And this is the card I made with it:  I probably should have used the same Azure Afternoon colour, but I had this piece of Shy Shamrock hanging around my desk, so chose to use that instead, and seeing as the star stamp hadn't been used I figured I should put it into action.  Its not a bad littl...

Do more with your Punches!

Hi there Creators Well I said the title out loud and my youngest son showed me a few creative punches, like this Mum, umm not quite the sort of punches I was thinking of lol!😀 Of course I'm talking about "papercraft punches", how to get the size to be bigger or smaller, handy to know when you have a saying that's longer than your punch, or when a small saying looks a little lost in the middle of your punch! (click on the links to view the punches). This first one shows the Delightful Tag Topper Punch , which has 3 widths, 2", 1 1/2", and 1", I love this for making my tags to go on bags or presies, you can do a larger one in colour, and pop a smaller one...

Made it Monday on Tuesday!

Image
Hi there Over on the Eureka Stampers Facebook Page, which I'm part of we have something called "Made it Monday".  However as yesterday was a public holiday, the kids were home, and I was unpacking the car back into my craft room/class room, so nothing was made :( So today in my list of things to do were to organise my "tag card" and the card that my Craft@Home ladies will be receiving to create, I thought I'd share them with you today. The Tag Card for those of you who don't know, is a way of making the tag that comes on your bag (when your purchase from me), into a card, so here it is: it uses the gorgeous Eastern Medallions Thinlits to create the beautiful cut out in the card, then the tag itself uses the Ribbon of Courage Stamp set, and Support Ribbon Framelits, along with the Tailored Tag Punch , and the Sale-a-Bration Shimmer ribbon pack (the ribbon may vary from card to card) You can choose to have these ribbons for free when you place...
