February 2025 Class Cards

Image
Hi there Creators My goodness over 1/2 way through January!, so I figured seeing as I've made them I'd best share my class cards for Feb.  Classes are Friday 7th at 1pm in my classroom Laanecoorie and Saturday 8th at 10.30am at Wattle City Church Argyle Road, Maryborough.  Class cost is $24 for 4 cards I thought we'd better make the most of the Sale-a-Bration goodies, so this is Heart Shaped Bundle (stamps & dies) that you can get for free with an order of $200, it is a pretty bundle!  I've teamed it up with the new Antique Pearls this next one uses the rather cool Linked Together Decorative Masks and also the saying from With You in Mind (I rather like nice large sayings for cards and this one has a few! Moving onto a new punch: To the Point Label Punch and matching stamp set Bright Borders And last but not least one of the new Hybrid embossing folders (this means it has dies that go with the embossing folder): Beautiful Butterflies (never would have gu...

Party Puffins, Cards for June class

Image
Hi there Creators,  I thought for a change this month we'd do some kids cards, Sam (10)  has been to a couple of parties recently, and I've really enjoyed using this stamp set making up cards for them.  The Party Puffins are so cute! (I'm pretty sure they'd appeal to big kids too lol) So here we go..... Card 1:  I like doing fancy fold cards and they're always a winner with kids! Card 2:  Sparkly stuff!, also a winner with kids lol, I've used some of the Rainbow Glimmer Paper with this card, so pretty!, and as it's rainbow there's also a greeny/blue section which would work nicely for a boy! (and these sparkles don't get everywhere, bonus!)   Card #3 also uses a bit more of the sparkly Rainbow Glimmer Paper behind the vellum heart (some of the green this time!)  A spot of masking and you have a heap of small cute puffins! And the last card I thought would be fun to showcase the candles, if you coloured the candles in pinks I reckon it would ma...

Hand Drawn Blooms bundle

Image
Hi there Creators, Thought I'd share with you today the Hand Drawn Blooms Bundle , it's pretty amazing!  a pretty stamp set and really great dies, I've got a couple of cards to show you. This first one is a nice simple card, the flowers and the stems are 2 different stamps in the Hand-drawn Blooms stamp set , but they fit together very easily, the sayings come in 2 lines, so with this card I've only inked up the one line, and lightly (and roughly) coloured in the flowers with the watercolour pencils . This second card uses the main die from Banner Blooms , how amazing is it?!  it doesn't have dies to separately cut out the saying, so I recommend that you stamp the saying on spare card, then lay the die over it, draw round them both, and cut them out by hand.  I've also used the fabulous Rainbow Glimmer Paper , wow this is amazing!  And if you love glitter, but don't like it coming off on you (or going everywhere) this one doesn't! it clings rigidly to ...
