Something Saturday - Bendy Floating Window Card

Image
Hi there Creators,  I saw a version of this card online pretty sure it was Lisa Curcio over in the States, I have simplified it right down (my husband says conserving cardstock and being economical) 🤣 She had used 4 pieces of A6 Cardstock to create hers, mine only uses one, plus the designer paper, embellishments and a couple of white strips for the back to write on. Anyway here are the ones I created: This first one uses Sweet Jar bundle  (stamps & punch), also the new Regals Designer Series papers , and the Spotlight on Nature Dies (although when I cut the circle I wasn't really thinking about the fact the pretty bit is on the inside 🤦‍♀️) The card I made in the video uses the ever so pretty Frames & Flowers Specialty Designer Series Paper, then paired up with the new Extraordinary Flora Washi Tape and matching Extraordinary flora bundle .  Oh my goodness you're going to want to get those!  I've attached the saying in the same way with a strip of matchi...

Interactive Cards Class Next Tuesday

Image
Hi Everyone, We're doing Never Ending Cards on Tuesday 17th October, if you'd like to join in, the classes are 10.30am and 7.30pm, or you can order a kit from me.  I can't stamp the kit, but you can add your own images, as the main part will be in the kit (cardstock, cut and scored and Designer Series Paper) and the gate will be cut out too (for card #2) Here are the 2 cards we'll be making, they each have 4 "pages" so I've done a little video for each, otherwise it would have to be 8 photos! Card #1 uses the Bundle of Love Specialty Designer Series Paper , along with Musical Season Stamp set and matching Musical Instrument Dies (comes as a bundle - yay!) Card #2 uses the gorgeous Detailed Gate thinlit , Vintage Leaves Stamp set , Number of Years Stamp set and Large Numbers Framelits , and also the Wood Textures Designer Series Paper .  Isn't the gate so gorgeous? If you are interested in ordering the kit, or coming to one of the clas...

Sneak Peek #2: Musical Season

Image
Hi Everyone, the new Holiday catalogue comes out on 1st September, and as a demonstrator I get to pre-order from it (yay!)  one of the sets that especially took my fancy was one called Musical Season bundled with the Musical Instruments framelit dies, mainly for the Treble Clef that is in the framelits, being a singer, musical stuff appeals to me (and I know a lot of other musical people too) This first card uses the Sheet Music Background Stamp in Smoky Slate to begin with, initally I'd done the instruments in Night of Navy, but the card looked too bland, so I ended up making a bit more Christmassy with the Real Red and Old Olive colours, of course the Treble Clef!, it has little dots of silver glitter on the side pattern pieces, which you can just see. The other card I was able to make today is this one: how cool is the French Horn?, I like the sayings and the holly sprig is a lovely stamp too, only one other stamp in the set is a little drummer boy, which I didn't ha...

Sneak Peek time

Image
Hi Everyone, Yep that time of year again, where as a demo I get to pre-order from the new Holiday catalogue to be released to the public on 1st September, so I thought I'd best tempt you with some of the new goodies that I've been blessed enough to be able to purchase. First up is this ultra cute Pizza box, its just over 3", so of course I had to make some cute little cards to go in it, because (of course) Stampin' Up! have conveniently enough produced 3x3 size envelopes, funny that!  I cut A5 cardstock into 3 (7cm x 7.4cm) to make little cards the right size to go into the envelopes (and no waste - gotta love that!) For the cards I wanted to use the new Year of Cheer Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP), which is truly gorgeous, it's all single sided design and has Gold, Silver, Copper and Champagne foil (yes - Champagne eek, how exciting!)  Oh I suppose you want to see the cards LOL The backgrounds are all the new DSP, then the die cuts are (su...
