Class Cards for September Class

Hi there Creators, Well we're 1/2 way through the month already, and Wow I now have 2 separate card Classes sorted for September!  the first is our regular class, which is what this post is about, the other is the special Gingerbread Man & Sophisticated Alternative Cracker class (click the link to see, should open in a new window). Anyway back to our regular class for September, which will be on Friday 5th; 1pm in my classroom and Saturday 7th; 10.30am Maryborough Class cost $25 for the 4 cards. As we'll be 4 months out from Christmas, we'll be making one Christmas card at this class (2 in Oct, 3 in Nov, 4 in Dec) 😃  gotta work your way up to it! Something Saturday - Creating Frames using Paper Trimmer

 Hi There Creators, Today as I was cutting things with my Paper Trimmer I thought Oh I wonder if I've ever taught people how to create frames with their trimmer, so just in case I haven't, here we go......... In the video I simply show how to position the Trimmer and cardstock to be able to cut out a rectangle from the middle of it and create a frame, I find it really handy to do this, you can create a great effect without lots of bulk, for example with this card, if I was to use single layers it would end up with 7 layers and fairly heavy and bulky, in some respects it's like faux matting! And then on the plus side you end up with the inside pieces to also use......  Love conserving cardstock! These 2 cards use 3 of the new In Colours for this year: Shy Shamrock, Petunia Pop and Pretty in Pink, so of course they needed the new In Colour bling: In Colour Shimmer Gems .  And the Stamp/Punch set I used is Keeping Tabs .  I then may have got a little carried away, wi...
