Something Saturday - Brightest Birthday Kit

  Hi there Creators Today we're checking out one of the new kits, I have to say WOW!, maybe it's the holographic blingy bits (ooooo bling....🤣)  if you're a regular reader of my blog or watch my YouTube or Facebook channels then you'll know I can't resist bling.  Anyway check out the kit here: Brightest Birthday Kit And here are the cards it makes.... oh and their matching (also blingy) envelopes. Then you'll notice on the first card with the balloons it has a box that has the holographic outline, which is actually a sticker, so in the video I show you how to get the sticker off and onto a separate piece of card without having to pick it off and re-piece it yourself. And this is the card I made with it:  I probably should have used the same Azure Afternoon colour, but I had this piece of Shy Shamrock hanging around my desk, so chose to use that instead, and seeing as the star stamp hadn't been used I figured I should put it into action.  Its not a bad littl...

 Hi there Creators, This time the Global Design Project is a Card layout.  I decided to try and use up some of my scrap pieces on my project this time, and I'm quite pleased with how it turned out, it certainly wasn't what I had initially thought I'd create lol This is the layout: You can click on the picture to see what others have created too.   And here is what I created:  I've used the snowflake Splendor Designer Series Paper for the background, then one of the Forever Gold Laser Cut Specialty Paper wreaths (I've coloured the back and hence used it blue!) I've also used one of the snowflakes from So Many Snowflakes Dies , and who can resist the Blue Gems they are absolutely gorgeous!   I've shown you a close up of that gorgeous Blue Gem, and I've also used a bit of Wink of Stella on my snowflake, doesn't it make it glisten?! I hope this inspires you into creating too. God Bless love Heather xox

Hi Stampers I've been meaning to enter the Global Design Project Challenge for a while, I did a few quite a long time ago, and keep getting the emails and forgetting, so this time it went on my list!, and I combined it with my thankyou card for the month!, so if you order from me in November, you can expect to receive this at some point. However first up, the challenge...... This time it's a CASE "Copy and Selectively Edit" by Louise Sharp, here is her card. I liked the layout of her card, so that is what I chose to go with for mine, I've also included a "sneak peek" of a new product called "Bloom by Bloom, which I received (for free) recently at the Stampin' Up! conference called "On Stage"  and here it is..... I made 2 versions one in White and one in Vanilla, so then of course had to use 2 different ribbons! I think I prefer the white with the polka dot tulle ribbon over the Vanilla with the Calypso Coral Ombre Ribbon,...
