Something Saturday - Last Chance List plus a simple card

 Hi There Creators,

Today I went through some of my goodies that are on the Last Chance List (click the link to see the list).

There's a heap that have been reduced, and heads up, check the individual prices before ordering the bundle, it may work out cheaper!

So then I saw a card design on a FB reel and thought that is so cool (and simple) I couldn't resist having a go and passing my "newfound" knowledge on to you all😃 (gotta love me🤣)

I'm pretty sure the lady showing it off called it a Split Scene card, and I confess I did use the same Designer papers as she did (although I did ring the changes with stamps and ephemera choices)

Here is the first card I made (all retiring goodies), I used the North Pole Delivery Designer Paper, and the Traditional Labels Stamp set how cute is the little dog that presses out from the Designer Paper?

Then in the video I made up this one, also using the North Pole Designer Paper, but this time incorporating the Christmas Greetings Mix & Match Cards & Envelopes, and the Greetings for You Mix & Match Ephemera Pack.  It's such a great way of using up really busy Designer Papers

All you need to create this is a base card, Designer Paper 3 - 4cm smaller than your base card, a mat around 1cm bigger than your designer Paper, and a piece of white (or plain) colour card, same length as your designer Paper, but shorter height, as you'll be cutting it in 1/2, so maybe 3cm shorter.

Then you cut a wavy pattern in the white and stick it all together, add some ephemera/ stamps/ sayings etc and voila!  If you plan to stamp, potentially you might want to do that before sticking it all down!

Anyway if you missed the video, here it is....

I hope you are inspired by my creations

God Bless love

Now back to todays sharing's I have used the Elegant Pine Snowflakes Designer Paper (so pretty!)

I have scored my cardstock first using my Stampin' Trimmer, then created score lines 1/2" apart, and cut my Designer Paper to 1cm pieces, which then fits nicely into the 1/2" slots, anyway this is what I created initially: I've used the words from Traditional Labels Stamp set for this card, and what's a Christmas Card without bling?  I picked out the faceted Snowflakes (mainly because they're new and just arrived🤣)  You absolutely need the Paper Trimmer if you want to create even score lines!

Then I discovered that I had some extra bits that got cut off from the sides, and so I created this.....

I'm hoping they kind of look like Christmas Trees, you know the ones people make using packing crates?  Am I stretching the imagination too much? this time I've used the aptly named Merry Christmas Stamp.

then I moved onto making the video and created these 2, I think the scored lines show up better on the white cardstock.

and this time as I was actually concentrating, I managed to get the cut off pieces even, so I could get 2 even looking trees for this second card.
