Something Saturday - Brightest Birthday Kit

  Hi there Creators Today we're checking out one of the new kits, I have to say WOW!, maybe it's the holographic blingy bits (ooooo bling....🤣)  if you're a regular reader of my blog or watch my YouTube or Facebook channels then you'll know I can't resist bling.  Anyway check out the kit here: Brightest Birthday Kit And here are the cards it makes.... oh and their matching (also blingy) envelopes. Then you'll notice on the first card with the balloons it has a box that has the holographic outline, which is actually a sticker, so in the video I show you how to get the sticker off and onto a separate piece of card without having to pick it off and re-piece it yourself. And this is the card I made with it:  I probably should have used the same Azure Afternoon colour, but I had this piece of Shy Shamrock hanging around my desk, so chose to use that instead, and seeing as the star stamp hadn't been used I figured I should put it into action.  Its not a bad littl...

June Class Cards

 Hi there Creators, Just a quick plug, if you're reading this and it's still May, there is an AMAZING joining offer, check it out here: Join Heather's Team I have June's cards worked out, and ready to go 😁  there's a heap of new goodies in this line up.  Class dates are:  Tues 4th at 12.30pm (or as close to that as possible) in Laanecoorie,  Thursday 6th at 7pm in Laanecoorie, and  Saturday 8th at 10.30am in Maryborough. Let's get to it, here are the cards and what I've used: This first one uses one of the Online only embossing folders Fun Patterns , and some of the Countryside Inn Designer Paper , which has been around since last year too (so lovely it stayed!)  And also the Something Fancy Stamp set (also a keeper from last year, I love this particular saying!) Cards for February 2023 Classes

Hi there Creators, Now we have the new Mini and Sale-a-Bration Catalogues out, of course I've been inspired to use new stuff....lol Classes are Wed 1st, at 10.30am and Thursday 2nd at 7pm in Laanecoorie then Saturday 4th 10.30am in Maryborough.  Class Cost $20 for the 4 cards. Don't forget to book your place. I will admit I had a struggle to know what to use (there's just so much and so little time!) Anyway, the Owls called to me (hoo? 🤣)  How cute is this little guy?  you can get the Adorable Owls stamp set for free when you purchase $90 of goodies (in fact that's the only way to get it, as it's one of the Sale-a-Bration offerings)  I've teamed it up with the Heart punch pack, and the Stampin' Blends (alcohol markers), and discovered that my Rustic Metallic bling slipped (oops) The next card I made is this one (which I think is really lovely in "real life" just hard to photograph well)  This also uses a Sale-a-Bration set: Beautifully Happy, a...
