Something Saturday - Woven Easter Baskets

Hi there Creators

Well I figured as we're getting towards Easter maybe I should try something "Easter'y", and as I was driving home I thought ooo, how about a woven basket, so I planned it out in my head, and here we are......  I'm impressed it did go to plan and actually was fairly easy to create.

I've used a  2 3/8" circle punch as the bottom of my little basket, and I'm actually surprised by how sturdy it is (as you can see at the end of my video when I decide to try and find out how much will actually fit inside it🤣)

The one I made in the video (with the handle) uses the gorgeous Gathering Together Specialty Designer Series Paper, which is actually on the clearance rack and down from $29 to $17.40 (bit of a bargain!)

If you missed the video here it is, I don't think I'd do a good job of trying to explain how to create this in words🤣

If you do have a go at it, let me know how you go, I'd love to see photos too😉
I hope this inspires you to have a go too.

Something Saturday - Faux Pleated Lines

 Hi there Creators

As I mention in the video, I'm sure I've seen this technique used, but I'm not sure this is exactly what I saw (or what it's called) as I couldn't find it again! (typical!)

Anyway, we're going with it 🤣  I have used these in the video:

Encircled with Love Stamps, Delightful Decorative Dots, 2" circle punch, 2 3/8" circle punch,

However, click on the photos to see the full products I've used for each card.

How cute are the little Faceted Snowflakes in this next card?
traditional labels, Stampin' Up!

You absolutely need your Paper Trimmer to do this - the lines are invaluable!

Then I ended up making my swaps for Backstage (that I'm off to the US for this Friday) the girls at class suggested I used the "green & gold" for Aussie😃

If you want to see how to create the lines, I show that in the video, here it is.....

I hope this inspires you to create.
