Interactive Card Class for July

Hi There!
Well continuing on with the theme of "Christmas in July" I have 2 Spinning wheel Cards to create.
the class date is Thursday 26th July at 10.30am and 7.30pm. Or you can order a kit from me, I can't stamp the images for you, but I can cut and organise everything and send instructions, both cards could be done with the same stamp set, or you could substitute one of your own.

First up is this one made with the Cookie Cutter Christmas Stamp set, I'll add a short video at the end, so you can see how the wheel at the side turns and you get 4 different pictures through the hole. (the Eskimo girl, A gingerbread man, Reindeer and Santa)

This other card uses the cute Seasonal Chums stamp set and matching dies Seasonal Tags Framelits
The little tree turns round to reveal the cute deer that's in this stamp set and the snowman.
And to see them in action, check out this short video:

I hope you can join me to create these cards (class cost $20), let me know if you do plan to come, as places are limited, or if you'd prefer a kit to create in your own time ($17 which includes postage), let me know.

I hope these inspire you to create!

3D train

Hi there,
well with Bendigo Craft Alive looming on the horizon this weekend (by the way - watch Weekend Sunrise as they will be broadcasting from the show!! let me know if you see us on it!)

Anyway, as I was saying with Craft Alive coming up, I was turning my mind to doing some 3D type items, I'd seen someone else had made a train using the Wood Crate Framelit dies, she'd used the really cute Animal Outing to put the kangaroo, giraffe, and Rhino in the carriages.  However I seem to be distinctly lacking in animal stamps :(  but then I remembered......

Yes! the Cookie Cutter Christmas has a reindeer in it! Cut the reindeer and Santa out with the matching Cookie Cutter Builder Punch (yay for punches!)  I was so pleased with the way this turned out, even Tom (the hubbie) was impressed! (he's insistent that I tell you the "smoke" was his idea lol) although I was the one that had to make it happen!
I hope that people will like this at the show.  Do leave me a comment to let me know what you think!
I hope it inspires you to create some 3D items at home too

God Bless love

Stampin' Up! Christmas Cards for classes in December

Hi Everyone,
Welcome to my new blog, I'm hoping to be able to work out how to offer much more with this blog!
Here are the cards I'll be teaching you in December (obviously focusing on Christmas)!
First up is this cute Cookie Cutter Christmas Card using the Cookie Cutter Christmas Bundle

isn't the reindeer gorgeous?  I've also used the Festive Textured impressions embossing folder  and the Layering Ovals Framelits.

Next up is this beautiful Silver bells card, I'm pleased with this card, I hope you like it tooI couldn't help thinking of the Christmas song my Mum used to sing when I was young called Silver Bells!  I took a close up of the bells so you can see that they are silver embossed too. This card uses the Seasonal Bells bundle and the Softly Falling Embossing folder Oh and to cut the saying at the bottom (which is part of the stamp set) I've used the Bunch of Banners Framelit dies.
I'm so pleased with the cards for this month, This next one I just lurve the dove!
So this card uses the Sunburst Thinlit die to create a mask for the background, And the beautiful Dove comes from Strength and Prayers Stamp set, which has some lovely words in it too, however these words came from Star of Light Stamp set."

And the last card after not using any really "Christmassy" colours I thought I should add some in!
this card uses the Oh What Fun Stamp set, the Hello You thinlit dies, some stars punched out using the Confetti Stars Punch.  I was thinking with die how to attach it to the card, that would be an easy way, and thought how cool it would be to have 3 gold lines behind it, so out came the Tear and Tape Adhesive, And I'm really happy with the way it turned out!
Do let me know your thoughts on these cards.  If you can make it to my classes they are Maryborough (Vic) Saturday 3rd December 10am, Bendigo - Wednesday 7th December 10.30am, and Laanecoorie (my new Classroom!) - Wednesday 14th December at 7.30pm

If you know you can't make it but would like instructions, do ask me, and if anyone would like a kit to create any of these cards let me know

I hope I have inspired you to create :)
God Bless love
