Something Saturday - Brightest Birthday Kit

  Hi there Creators Today we're checking out one of the new kits, I have to say WOW!, maybe it's the holographic blingy bits (ooooo bling....🤣)  if you're a regular reader of my blog or watch my YouTube or Facebook channels then you'll know I can't resist bling.  Anyway check out the kit here: Brightest Birthday Kit And here are the cards it makes.... oh and their matching (also blingy) envelopes. Then you'll notice on the first card with the balloons it has a box that has the holographic outline, which is actually a sticker, so in the video I show you how to get the sticker off and onto a separate piece of card without having to pick it off and re-piece it yourself. And this is the card I made with it:  I probably should have used the same Azure Afternoon colour, but I had this piece of Shy Shamrock hanging around my desk, so chose to use that instead, and seeing as the star stamp hadn't been used I figured I should put it into action.  Its not a bad littl...

 Hi Creators,  Well the in person classes were very short lived!  So we're back to @Home classes again.  For each of these cards you can use your own sayings that you have at home.  I'll be providing all the cardstock cut/scored/punched etc and the extra elements and instructions, so you only need glue, ink and saying stamps. Anyway onto the cards: If you follow my blog, you'll have seen this one the other day, We're using the Best Plaid Builder dies for this card, and the Story Label Punch . The other 3 cards I feel I got a bit carried away with Vellum lol.... Card #2:  This card does use a vellum background (but you probably wouldn't know from this photo!)  I've used the beautiful Poinsettia Dies you can see the Subtle embossing folder in this close up photo, I love the "subtle" effect it has for the background, really softens it, which is what I wanted for this delicate card. Hi there Creators, If you order my ClassCards@Home kit this month you'll be receiving these cards to create at home, for each of these, you'll need to use your own Stamps, Inks and Glues but I'll be providing all the papers pre-cut along with instructions and videos.  Click on the link below by Friday 1st May to order and pay for your kit, I will get the kits all organised over that weekend and mail them out on Monday 4th. With Mothers day on the horizon, I thought this might be suitable with a appropriate saying, you'll be choosing a colour and saying that you have at home.  This card uses the beautiful Tasteful background dies , and the really pretty Woven Threads Sequin Assortment .  Oh and also the Stitched rectangle dies .  I've called this card "Tasteful Things" Card #2 could also be used as a Mothers Day card if you wanted to, this one uses the Tropical thinlits , and I did discover that the Label Me Fancy Punch does sit nicely on top...

Subtle Embossing Folder

Hi Everyone, I've had a couple of questions about the new Subtle Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder , Oh there's a mouthful and 1/2!  I'll just call it the Subtle embossing folder from now on...lol The photos in the catalogue and online are very uninspiring!  however if you like texture, you're going to love this, to make it show up in photos, I inked up the folder with a bit of Crumb Cake ink , so you can actually see it. I inked up both sides so I could check both out, as it does look different on each side (subtle'y different - oh I know *groan*) So then I thought I'd better make something with it too to show it off, pretty much anything that would look nice with a bit of texture would look good with this I reckon! I've teamed it up with the Tropical Chic bundle , and I'm so pleased with the way it turned out, I even got a "that's not bad, I don't mind it" from the hubbie! (high praise lol) What do you t...
