Something Saturday - Origami Envelopes

Image
Hi There Creators, Guess what? it's that time of the week again for Something Saturday!😃 This week I happened to be scrolling through Facebook and came across this origami envelope quick video, so I have deciphered the video (you know how they do it and it's so fast!) And I've worked out if you do it with 12x12" cardstock you get an envelope worthy of a card, and a 6x6" piece gives you a gift card sized envelope. Here they are: then I'll try and explain how to make them...... Fancy Fold Arrow Card with Video

Image
Hi there Creators Well.... I found this amazing card on Pinterest (as you do) and thought I've got to have a go at that! it's by Mixed Up Craft, and here's the link: Tricorn Style Fold Card in case you want to see it too, I made mine up from an A5 card as I really hate to waste cardstock by cutting it to inches!  So at some point I might do up a quick video just to convert it to A4 format for you! Anyway after doing up my draft I then proceeded onto my "proper card" and all was going well till I realised I'd scored it all wrong lol, however as I really don't like to waste cardstock I persevered on with it, and I really liked what I accidentally made, so I figured I'd share it with you, I'm pretty confident you won't find this anywhere else, and if you have a more inspiring name for it than my fancy fold mistake card, please let me know!  I was wondering about Fancy Fold Arrow card, what do you think? So after all this talking I'm su...

Class dates are: Saturday 2nd 10am Maryborough, Wednesday 6th 10.30am Laanecoorie, and Thursday 7.30pm Laanecoorie. First up, I was asked for a spot of watercolouring, and I figured this card would work for a male or female card. I've used the Well Said bundle that has heaps of words! (both dies and stamps) with a spot of watercolouring in the background. Incorporating a bit more watercolour this next card has gorgeous watercoloured butterflies And I just love, love, love! this stamp set Life is Grand, and the Butterfly Gala with the matching Butterfly Duet Punch are also fabulous! Next up I had to use some of the absolutely amazing Sale-a-Bration Grapefruit Grove or Lovely Lipstick foil cardsto...
