Something Saturday - Rainbow Celebration Kit

 Hi there Creators

Well today in the video I show off the Sale-a-Bration Catalogue (SAB for short).  For every $100 of goodies you purchase you can pick for free from the Sale-a-Bration Catalogue (Woo Hoo!💖)

There is another bonus with SAB  is that if you fancy joining Stampin' Up! there is a ripper of deal, (well actually there's 2 deals, one I think is better than the other)

Deal 1 (in my humble opinion the better deal) you pick out $235 of goodies, and only pay $169, then on top of this you also pick out 2 of the Stampin' Write Marker Sets (Brights/Regals/Subtles or Neutrals) these are worth $62.50 each, for free PLUS you get an exclusive rather lovely stamp set worth $37

Deal 2: pick out $286 of goodies and only pay $169

Just ask me if you want more info, or you can check out my Stampin' Up! website here:  Join my Team

Ok so onto the kit, it makes 6 cards (approx these ones), I say approx, because I accidentally put the wrong size dotty rainbow on 2 of them🤣

Then I had a piece left over that the dotty rainbows came out of, and felt a need to use it!, so this is what eventuated.....

here is the piece..

And this was the first card, I used the Make a Wish from Birthday Celebration Stamp set (which actually has really cool dies with it, so I've given you the bundle link)  I've added a couple of bows as "pots at the end of the rainbow"🤣 and some of the amazing Sunny Day Iridescent Dots which incidentally I also added to the cards above!

Then this one I teamed up with one of the other Sale-a-Bration products "Day to Celebrate" to create the streamers and saying.

And that's it!

Something Saturday - Half'er cards using Trusty Toolbox

 Hi There Creators,

No not half a card🤣  Today I'm showing off the fabulous Trusty Tools Bundle, which just so happens to have matching Sale-a-Bration papers that go with it.  Sale-a-Bration (SAB) is on until the end of Feb, for every $90 you purchase you get to pick for free from the SAB catalogue (check out the whole offering here: Sale-a-Bration items.  Woo hoo!  There's also another fabulous deal when you join Stampin' Up! you get to choose $235 of goodies plus you get the glass mat studio for free OR and extra $50 of goodies in your pack and you only pay $169 (absolute bargain, let me know if you're interested!) or check out this link: Join Now link.   Anyway moving on to my "half'er" cards....

The Trusty Toolbox SAB papers have a heap of tools on a couple of the sheets, which is great, and for a scrapbook sheet they're fine, but round the edges if you're a cardmaker you kind of end up with a heap of "dud" tools (half tools), so I thought I can use those (and show you how to too)

Here goes.....  This first one I made up in the video

Trusty Toolbox Bundle, Stampin' Up!
Then after the video I moved onto this one (just happened to have the "love you" cut out from the post I did on 30th Dec laying around on my desk), so figured I might just make this one up for my hubbie (now to find a non-suspicious reason to give it to him 🤣)

And lastly I also had some off cuts bits, so I squared them up and figured it would work to "splash" them over the front of the card, as I did fussy cut all the bits out before the stamps & dies (that I'd forgotten I'd ordered arrived), but some of these tools and the paintbrush are cutoutable with the dies (ooo that's a good word isn't it, "cutoutable"🤣

Aren't they fabulous papers? and the stamp set is really cool that it has "fill" in bits to stamp - check it out with the link above.

Anyway the class dates are: Thursday 1st at 7pm in Laanecoorie, then Saturday 3rd in Maryborough at 10.30am and Tuesday 6th at 2.30pm (note the new date and time of the midweek, what used to be Wednesday, class)

Here we go.....

I figured everyone knows someone who's musical (or into Rock & Roll), so I created this fun card using the Rock Star Bundle

Next up this pretty stamp from Stippled Roses creates a beautiful pattern.

Then another fun card, I had to use some of the Sale-a-Bration goodies!, I thought it would make a great kids card.

Jungle Pals, Stampin' Up!
And lastly I know the paper isn't new but it's so pretty, this is the Meandering Meadows Designer series paper which is one of the Online Exclusive packs, with this card the circle on the front is the opening bit, sometimes you just need a card to let someone know you're thinking of them!

Well, I hope you can join us, but if you can't I hope these give you inspiration in your own crafting.

Something Saturday - What to do with your left over Chocolate tins

 Hi there Creators

Well I don't know about you, but around this time of year I end up with some chocolate box tins or biscuit tins that are decidedly empty.  Chocolates/biscuits have all "flown the coop", and it seems a shame to just dump the tins.  I'm sure there are heaps of things you can do with them if you check out Pinterest, but equally you can decorate them and use them as "gift wrap" solutions (who doesn't like a pretty tin?)🤣

So here is my big Roses Box of Chocolates altered tin:  I've used the gorgeous Favored Flowers Designer Papers that are free when you purchase $90+ of goodies until the end of Feb, but you could use any lovely papers that you have lying around (most of us if you've been paper crafting a while seem to have heaps!)

Stampin' Up!, Favoured Flowers Sale-a-Bration, Altered Tin

Stampin' Up!, Favoured Flowers Sale-a-Bration, Altered Tin

In the video I show you how to get measurements so the paper will fit onto your tin (even if the sides of the tin aren't quite 90 degrees to the base - as I discovered when doing this 🤣)  Oh and don't forget to check the inside of the box to see if anything needs covering (I did discover a list of chocolates printed onto the inside of the lid - after I thought I'd finished)

I like to add ribbon to hide the rough edges (bit of embellishments hide a multitude of sins)

Anyway if you missed the video, here it is.....

I hope this inspires you to have a go too!

Sneak Peek Stampin' Up! Sale-a-Bration

Hi Everyone,
As I said in the last post Jenny came over today, and created the 3 cards that I showed you, and drum roll please here is my 1 card! lol

This card uses some of the beautiful Sale-a-Bration "Inside the Lines" Designer Series Paper, it's designed as a black and white image that you colour in
(as Jenny was saying, how's your colouring-in therapy going?)
I enjoyed colouring it in, this is just a section of the 12x12 sheet, and there are 4 different designs.  Then again, with the Sale-a-bration products the saying comes from a cute stamp set called "Designer Tee"  I just love this particular saying , Don't Quit your Daydream ;)

Sale-A-Bration (SAB) starts on 4th January, for every $90 you spend on regular products you get to pick a SAB product for FREE (yay!)  there are also perks for hosting a workshop, and for joining - ask me!

Anyway I hope this inspires you with excitement of things to come!
God Bless love
