February 2025 Class Cards

Image
Hi there Creators My goodness over 1/2 way through January!, so I figured seeing as I've made them I'd best share my class cards for Feb.  Classes are Friday 7th at 1pm in my classroom Laanecoorie and Saturday 8th at 10.30am at Wattle City Church Argyle Road, Maryborough.  Class cost is $24 for 4 cards I thought we'd better make the most of the Sale-a-Bration goodies, so this is Heart Shaped Bundle (stamps & dies) that you can get for free with an order of $200, it is a pretty bundle!  I've teamed it up with the new Antique Pearls this next one uses the rather cool Linked Together Decorative Masks and also the saying from With You in Mind (I rather like nice large sayings for cards and this one has a few! Moving onto a new punch: To the Point Label Punch and matching stamp set Bright Borders And last but not least one of the new Hybrid embossing folders (this means it has dies that go with the embossing folder): Beautiful Butterflies (never would have gu...

Something Saturday - Corner Fold Pop Out card

Image
Hi there Creators,  well today is an original design by me, I've called it "Corner Fold Pop Out Card".  Last weekend was our big Multi-team weekend Creative Connections event, and I was doing a presentation on the Bright & Beautiful suite , and taught this card at the end. In our video today I've used the Inked Botanicals Designer Series Paper which is the same one I was using in my Something Saturday card last week.  I love that is has a Vanilla Base colour rather than white - gives my white cardstock a bit of a rest! 😁  Anyway let's show you the photos then instructions after.... So this is the card I taught at the Creative Connections event:   One of my friends suggested I should decorate the front of the card, so the one I did in the video now has this on the front of it:  Then when you open it up, the daisies pop out, I felt this paper went well with the Cheerful Daisies Dies, so I've used the dies to die cut direct from the Designer Paper ...

Something Saturday - Double Window Shutter Card

Image
Hi there Creators today I'm showing how to make a card I'm calling a double window shutter card, as I'm not sure where I saw it (if I did I may have just dreampt it up!, or what it was called if I did see it somewhere and it had a name!) Anyway I doubt very much mine would be the same as anyone else's (I'm like that!) So here's my original one I created, I've used the Sea Turtles stamp set to make this one: this time I decided to use the Inked Botanicals Designer Series Paper, I love that it has a vanilla background to it and gives my white cardstock a rest! I've added the Cheerful Daisies Dies , and used the Distressed Gold Specialty paper for the inside pieces of the flowers, I've deliberately left the other side without stamping, as I'm not quite sure who I'm giving it to yet! If you missed the video here it is: I hope this inspires you to have a go too! God Bless love Heather xox
