Something Saturday - Bendy Floating Window Card

Hi there Creators,  I saw a version of this card online pretty sure it was Lisa Curcio over in the States, I have simplified it right down (my husband says conserving cardstock and being economical) 🤣 She had used 4 pieces of A6 Cardstock to create hers, mine only uses one, plus the designer paper, embellishments and a couple of white strips for the back to write on. Anyway here are the ones I created: This first one uses Sweet Jar bundle  (stamps & punch), also the new Regals Designer Series papers , and the Spotlight on Nature Dies (although when I cut the circle I wasn't really thinking about the fact the pretty bit is on the inside 🤦‍♀️) The card I made in the video uses the ever so pretty Frames & Flowers Specialty Designer Series Paper, then paired up with the new Extraordinary Flora Washi Tape and matching Extraordinary flora bundle .  Oh my goodness you're going to want to get those!  I've attached the saying in the same way with a strip of matchi...

Something Saturday - Blackout Embossing

  Hi there Creators Today I'm showing you a technique I learnt just recently - Janine Rawlins had put it up on her FB, and as soon as I saw it I had to go and have a go!  OH MY GOODNESS!! If you haven't come across it before and you have a plentiful supply of embossing folders, I suspect you will be like me too.🤣 So here are the creations I made then I'll give you a brief rundown on how to do it: (I may have got a little carried away......) First up: Fern 3D embossing folder and one of the embossing folders from Stripes & Splatters 3D embossing folders . Then the other embossing folder from Stripes & Splatters is the Pretty Peacock one, and the purple one is one of the Basics 3D embossing Folders Then lastly the 2 embossing folders from Fun Patterns embossing folders (these aren't 3D folders, but they still work 😍) Don't they look great? Something Saturday - Oooo New Stuff!

Hi there Creators In the video this time I show off some of my latest goodies I was allowed to pre-order from the upcoming Annual Catalogue (so exciting - even after almost 14 years!)  The catalogue actually goes live on 3rd May, so you don't have to wait long before you can start ordering 😃 Anyway my main stache was the new In Colours: A4 Papers/ Glimmer Paper (ooooo)/ Special Glittery ribbon, (Oh I'm such a goldfish! lol)/ obviously the ink pads and matching Stampin' Write Markers. I also have a couple of new stamp sets/ dies/ and embellishments, however I couldn't resist playing with my new 3D embossing folder "Fern", and here is what I ended up making up with the embossed piece I showed in the video:  I've used the new Parakeet Party ink colour along with the Evening Evergreen to give the "mottled" effect.  I've also used the new Fabulous Frames dies (2 of them) for the saying and the frame.   Then I also thought the new Rustic Metallic ...
