Team "Open Classroom" & Sneak Peeks!

So over the last couple of days I've been holding an "Open Classroom" for members of my team to come and check out some of the new products.

I had 3 cards for them to come and create with me too, which I thought I'd share with you as little "sneak peeks". First up a new Stamp set and Punch, Butterfly Gala Stamp set, and Butterfly duet punch, as the name suggests it cuts out 2 butterflies in one hit!  Also a touch of new Gingham Gala Designer Series Paper.
Next up I couldn't resist using one of the new Sale-a-bration products, when you purchase $180 of products during Sale-a-Bration (Jan to March) you can choose this stamp set for FREE!  Oh my goodness it's beautiful, it uses the "Distinktive" technology for the stamp which gives the stamp such depth with only stamping!
Then lastly the Forever Lovely stamp set and matching Lovely Flowers Edgelit dies, wow it's pretty!, and so cool the way the stamps line up with the dies!
there were so many other stamps/papers etc which my team got to view as well.

If you've been considering joining my team, do let me know, there's so many benefits to being a demonstrator, not least the discount on the products!  there is a joining special at the moment, click here to view it: Joining Special.

I hope this whets your appetite for the upcoming catalogues!
Happy Stampin'

Cards for December classes

Hi There!
Well not long till December, and the tree can go up!   And also my last classes for the year.  As the first of these classes is on this Saturday, thought I'd better get myself into gear and show you the cards!
first up..... I just love this So Santa Stamp set, he always makes me smile! and I figured the palm leaves from the Tropical Thinlits would make it feel like an Aussie'ish Christmas :)
Next up, I've been meaning to use the glossy cardstock and shimmer paints for a while and keep forgetting, so finally.....
I may have gone a little beserk with this one, as once I had one made I had to try out all the other colours lol, first up Champagne Mist
 then Frost White
 And Bright Copper
Lastly Vegas Gold
looks way better in real life!
After that I thought I should maybe start going back to a little more traditional, I like Purple on Christmas cards as I think it's very regal, so I've used Rich Razzleberry on this one, as well as the gold embossing (the words down the bottom are gold embossed too, but it's hard to show on the photo!) I've used the His Light Stamp set for the wording and the Star of Light stamp set for the gorgeous star and swirl of stars
Then I thought maybe not quite traditional enough for some, so..... back to the Cherry Cobbler and Shaded Spruce.  Love, love love this Delicate lace edgelits, how gorgeous is it?  then I've also used the box....Christmas Traditions Punch Box of course!
And that is our line up of cards!  If you'd like to make more of some do let me know, as I'll make sure I have extra cardstock for you!

Class dates are
  • this Saturday 1st at 10am,
  • Tuesday 11th at 7.30pm and
  • Wednesday 12th at 10.30am
then we'll be taking a break till a MEGA CLASS on Wednesday 23rd January, where we'll be doing a special "Birthday Bonanza" class, more about that to follow (stay tuned!)

I hope you can join me for this last class for the year, if not I hope these have inspired you to create in your own space over Christmas!

GDP164 Entry

Hi Stampers
I've been meaning to enter the Global Design Project Challenge for a while, I did a few quite a long time ago, and keep getting the emails and forgetting, so this time it went on my list!, and I combined it with my thankyou card for the month!, so if you order from me in November, you can expect to receive this at some point.

However first up, the challenge...... This time it's a CASE "Copy and Selectively Edit" by Louise Sharp, here is her card.

http://www.global-design-project.com/2018/11/global-design-project-164-case-designer.html
I liked the layout of her card, so that is what I chose to go with for mine, I've also included a "sneak peek" of a new product called "Bloom by Bloom, which I received (for free) recently at the Stampin' Up! conference called "On Stage"  and here it is.....
I made 2 versions one in White and one in Vanilla, so then of course had to use 2 different ribbons! I think I prefer the white with the polka dot tulle ribbon over the Vanilla with the Calypso Coral Ombre Ribbon, which do you prefer?  The background paper is the beautiful Petal Promenade Designer Series Paper.

Also thought I'd mention how I created the graded effect on the flower
I started off inking the whole stamp with Flirty Flamingo, then daubed Melon Mambo onto the bottom of it, then stamped, giving that different grades of pink look, you have to make sure you dab it and not swipe, as it doesn't work if you swipe, you end up with an incomplete image.

Soon Sale a Bration and the new Occasions Catalogues will be here! if you have ordered from me in the last year, you will be receiving the new Catalogues through the mail (or in person) once I am able to order them, if not or you're not sure, and you'd like me to get one to you, do let me know, and I'll make sure I get them to you
20190103_OCC19_en-SP20190103_SAB19-1_en-SP
Don't forget if you order during November and your order is over $125 you will qualify for my free Bonus gift, your choice of a Shimmer Paint, if your order is between $125 and $250 pop this hostess code in  RJZEGMNQ if it's over $250 you'll qualify for free hostess $'s for yourself, so don't put the hostess code in!

I hope you have been inspired to create with this!

Coffee & Cards November

Hi Stampers,
So Coffee & Cards is on again next Wednesday (21st) in Dunolly, thought I'd share the projects we'll be making, firstly I have a confession to make, I am a Shaded Spruce Addict!  It would appear that I really have to drag myself away from this colour to use other ones lol.  Also I've decided to make a determined effort to start using some of my gorgeous Designer Series Papers, as I tend to love them so much that I can't bear to use them!

Anyway, onto some cards that just so happen to use Shaded Spruce!  And they both use the gorgeous Joyous Noel Designer Series Paper, that has those lovely coppery foil bits, I've paired this one up with my favourite ribbon it's so soft and pliable (and totally my colours!) Merry Merlot and Copper Reversible Ribbon, and the Christmas Traditions Punch Box (stamps and punch).

The other card we'll be creating (let's face it its too close to Christmas now not to make Christmas cards!)  So again I've used the Joyous Noel Designer Series Paper, Oh fancy that it's got Shaded Spruce in it lol, I have used a ribbon that isn't shaded spruce but it does tone nicely - Tranquil Tide ruffled ribbon.  I've also found a great use, under the saying, for the mini boxwood wreath, which I've been meaning to use for ages! Saying and punch from the Christmas Traditions Punch Box again.
If you are planning to come along or interested in joining us, do let me know, we meet at 10am at the Dunolly Bakery.
I hope these cards inspire you to create!

Happiness Surrounds Limited time Stamp set

Hi there,

Well I think I'm in love again!  I thought, I'll just make a card for a friend, who's birthday I managed to miss, and as this one's a limited time stamp set I wanted to make sure I used it, however as I have already packed a heap of inks etc for my class on Saturday, I was slightly limited with my choices, all I can say is OH WOW!  Happiness Surrounds Stamp set is one from the Limited time suite - Snowflake Showcase.  It is Limited, so only available while stocks last till the end of this month (November)  hence if you want to get it - get it now, don't delay!!  use this host code, and you might win the host benefits for the month: RJZEGMNQ

Ok so the first card I made is the one I'm sending my friend, here it is:
This involves just stamping the largest stamp (I used Pumpkin Pie) , then the medium stamp (I used Granny Apple Green), and the small flower, (I used Melon Mambo).  Next up the sentiment, and some Rhinestone Basic Jewels (diamante's), curve the corners with the Detailed Trio Punch, and layer up on a Bermuda Bay Card! Oh and daub round the edge.  How gorgeous is it?

After having made this one I'd packed the diamantes away, so I'll add them to these cards after Saturday I think, but I'm still so happy with the way they turned out, still on the Brights colours as they seem to be the ones I wasn't using this month lol, I had some pre-cut card stock lying around too.....
although if I hadn't had pre-cut card, I was thinking these stamps would make an amazing One Sheet Wonder.  (this is where you take a piece of A4 card, stamp it all over, then cut it up and make several cards from it), moving on.....
gee I love this design so much!, I've done the larger leaves by inking up with the Granny Apple Green and stamping off on scrap paper once, to get the more faded look
And the last card:
I felt a need to use the Gorgeous Grape, and Grapefruit Grove (however not too sure that they actually go together lol) but I still love the look of the card.

I hope these inspire you to create too, and don't forget if you do want this stamp set order it soon! Oh and by the way the Snowfall thinlit dies do cut out the images in this set too (they were packed!)

God Bless love

Cards for November

Hi there,
My Goodness we're almost into November, I figured as we count down to Christmas that it might be a plan to do just Christmas Cards in Nov and Dec, so here goes.....  The classes that we'll be doing these cards at are: 3rd Nov Maryborough 10am, Then 14th Nov Laanecoorie at 10.30am and 7.30pm

First up an Aussie Santa card...
this uses the So Santa stamp set, and the fabulous Pattern Party Decorative Masks

Card #2 uses the Limited edition Snowfall thinlits and Snow is Glistening Stamp set, with a spot of Watercolouring in the background using the Brusho Crystal Colours on watercolour paper
Moving on to card #3 I've used one of my new fav embossing folders - Swirls and Curls, also uses the limited edition Snowfall thinlits, and white velvet paper to create the pretty snowflake. Oh and the stamp set/thinlit bundle is Merry Christmas to All.
And the last card is.... Oh my goodness this bow has to be my absolute favourite stamp currently! from the stamp set Wishing You Well, I'd originally stamped it 3 times, but then thought how cool it would look with the Merry Merlot & Copper reversible ribbon as one of the bows, what do you think?.
Ok well that's it!  do let me know if you are hoping to make it to one of the classes, be lovely to see you!
I hope these inspire you to create,
God Bless love

A baby card

Hi there,
Well I was asked to create a baby card for the bus drivers daughter who's due soon, and after a bit of thought I had an idea what I'd like.  My thought was that I'd like to create a little chest of drawers in a corner nook of a room, with the teddy from Baby Bear sitting on top, and a few toys at the foot of the chest.  I'll admit I did my usual, I'll use this set......, then to realise that the set retired, and Oh no did I sell it?  I'm relieved to say that even though it was in the sales box, it hadn't sold, so Bookcase Builder Stamp set lives to see another day in my craft room! lol

On to the photos of the card...  here's the teddy from Baby Bear Stamp set, I cut him out so I could have him a little way from the wall, I made a little blanket using the Basket Weave Dynamic Embossing folder, and have "fringed" the ends of it. (so pleased with the way it turned out!) I wanted the little photo frame and baby bottle sitting up on the top of the chest, so I've used a small piece of window sheeting folded in the middle to sort it out.
As I mentioned, the teddy I wanted sitting on top of the chest of drawers, so......
I thought what would be better than wooden chest of drawers? so to the rescue Wood Textures Designer Series Paper!  Of course when I showed it to the kids they tried to open the drawers lol (mum's not that clever!), or especially when I wanted the whole thing to lie flat to go in the envelope!, and this is how it flattens, the top of the chest of drawers and the teddy move up and one of the sides tucks back, the rest flattens down!
Yea! card accomplished and the bus driver was thrilled with it.  I used some of the lovely wording from the Baby Bear stamp set,  "Welcome to the World", "to have and to hold from this day forward" and "Hello Baby...."

Let me know what you think, would you like to make one of these?
I hope this inspires you to create!
God Bless love
