Something Saturday - Origami Envelopes

Image
Hi There Creators, Guess what? it's that time of the week again for Something Saturday!😃 This week I happened to be scrolling through Facebook and came across this origami envelope quick video, so I have deciphered the video (you know how they do it and it's so fast!) And I've worked out if you do it with 12x12" cardstock you get an envelope worthy of a card, and a 6x6" piece gives you a gift card sized envelope. Here they are: then I'll try and explain how to make them...... This first one is made using one of the 12x12" pieces of  Unbounded Beauty Designer Series Paper and this smaller one uses one of the 6x6" pieces of Full of Life Designer Series Paper Now, how to create these envelopes: take your square piece of designer cardstock, and fold in 1/2 diagonally Open it up and fold one side in to the middle: then fold as shown: open up the bottom flap and fold in the sides fold up the bottom tuck the point bit inside the envelope (you might want t...

Christmas Decoration

 Hi there Creators,

I taught this decoration a couple of years ago, and one of my team asked me about it yesterday.  I though I'd done a video on it, but turns out I hadn't, so excellent opportunity to do a YouTube vid!

Here is the decoration:

Christmas Decoration, Patterned Paper, Stampin' Up!

It's so pretty and yet deceptively simple to make, I've used the 'Tis the Season Designer Series Paper, (DSP) which is currently 15% off this month (yay!) I picked out 6 different designs, and have alternated 2 in each layer.  To make the wreath itself you'll need

You'll need to make all your DSP Squares into cones, as shown:

and you'll need to draw your 3 different sized circles into 1/2 and 1/4's .

So now for the video.....

If you decide to have a go at this I'd love to see your creations!  do show me 😊

Are you're running low on Designer Series Papers? or just want to stock up?  this month there's a special on a heap of the papers for 15% off - yay for sales!  check them out here: Paper Sale

I hope I have inspired you to create!

God Bless love
