Something Saturday - Hooray for Honeycomb Kit

 Hi there Creators, Today I thought we'd take a look at one of the new Kits that Stampin' Up! has brought out, it's really fun!, the name "honeycomb" kind of gives it away🤣 There are 9 cards to create, and it's a nice simple kit, would make an excellent gift for anyone who is thinking of starting off with card-making, there's no stamping involved - it's all "stick it together" and everything is included to do this.  At $32 it works out to $3.56 per card (which let's face it is pretty cheap for a card these days!) So here are the cards you can make (3 of each): Don't you just love the matching envelopes? The front of each card has clear embossed shiny bits on it (most obvious on the rainbow card at the top! with my photography) And there you have it, I haven't had the chance to play around and see what else I can create with this kit yet, so if you get it and do play around, let me know what you do! Eureka Stamper challenge day 7

Yep that's it made it to the final day! Day 7's brief was "It's World Card-Making Day" make a card and send it!
Thankfully I had my Saturday class in the morning, as Saturday was a bit chaotic then I ended up with a migraine in the evening, so by then I wasn't up to much at all!
However at my class I did end up completing one card, and one of the ladies who loves this particular colour hadn't been able to make it due to being sick, so I sent it off to her.  Later I read the challenge for the day, and thought Yay already done it!

So this is the card I sent her (might look a touch familar if you're a regular reader of my blog!)
I did replace the "enjoy today" with "hello"  This card uses the Leaf punch, which I have daubed colour (lemonlime twist) onto, pressing harder and lighter to create the varied look.  The saying is from Eastern Beauty stamp set, Then the main image in Rich Razzleberry is from Floral Phrases. Oh and the gatefold card is cut using the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch, to create the pretty bit to clasp.

Pheww made it!  I hope some of these creations in the last week or so, have inspired you to create too. I'd love to see what you've been creating!

Hi there Creators Well.... I found this amazing card on Pinterest (as you do) and thought I've got to have a go at that! it's by Mixed Up Craft, and here's the link: Tricorn Style Fold Card in case you want to see it too, I made mine up from an A5 card as I really hate to waste cardstock by cutting it to inches!  So at some point I might do up a quick video just to convert it to A4 format for you! Celebration of Tags

 Hi there Creators, I've been waiting ages, but finally this stamp set has arrived and it's every bit as cute as I expected it to be! So of course I had to play with it....... First up I stamped all the images using Black Stazon (they come in strips of 3 to match the dies) and cut them out with the big joined together die.  Then got to work creating cards with them, I ended up with 5 cards in the end, Oh and I've just realised I forgot to take photos of the insides, bother! This first one didn't get anything on the inside, I stamped the tag up, then debated what I could do to lessen the impact of the white card, and came up with the idea of inking the little label then stamping it a few times without reinking, and repeating till the card was covered sufficiently.  I'm quite pleased with the effect I got!   This second card is such a fun kid card, you might recognise it from my previous post on Global Design Project #264.  I've tied the ribbon at the end, then th

Share it Sunday Blog Hop

 Hi there Creators, I have joined a Facebook group called Crafty Collaborations, which is a Stampin' Up! demonstrator only group, demos all round the world, and there are various blog hops to join in with, which I thought sounded fun and might prompt me to remember to do blog posts lol! The "Share it Sunday" is an, anything goes one, which I figured was a great start for me! Today I thought I'd share with you a bit of a sneak peek!  Coming in January is our new Jan to July Mini catalogue and there is this AMAZING suite in it called Fine Art Floral, so beautiful! I've made 3 cards up and kind of ended up a bit "blue" not in feelings though - you'll see.... lol The first card is this one: I love the way it's got the 2 step stamping in the flower I've used one of the gorgeous Blue gems in the middle and bit of Wink of Stella on the flower too.
