More Sneak Peeks

Hi there,
I'm back again.....
After talking to Jenny one of my friends/downline we discovered that we'd ordered one of the same pre-order items, which are the "Santa's Workshop Memories & More Pack" and the matching cards and envelopes.  I ordered it because I've made some great cards with these packs before, and figured I needed to check it out (also because we have a CreateAbles team day coming up on 18th and thought it would be good to show the girls)  If you join my Stampin' Up! team before then you're welcome to come too!

Oh wow, Oh wow!  the cards are so fabulous, like the last post on Timeless Tidings Card Kit these make fabulous easy peasy cards! (and they're so cute!!)  I'm thinking this might be the way to go for the kids Christmas cards at just over a $1 per created card (probably less than that actually, as I didn't count in the stickers) BARGAIN!!

Oh of course you want to see them.....
and guess how long it took me to create these cards?  about 1/2 hour, seriously I was sitting at the table 1/2 watching TV, and just picking out the cards from the memories and more pack, then sticking them onto the Poppy Parade cards, adding a couple of the stickers here and there, and voila 8 cards in 1/2 hour (so exciting)
Here they are individually/up close and personal......
you can't see it but the little candy cane is all glittery (and it's a sticker) I've used 2 of the cards for this one.
this one is just one card with a sticker (the holly and berries)
I will admit to a touch of stamping and a punch made it into this card, and I've used 2 of the cards from the pack
Of course it's an Elf thing lol  Ive used a couple of the little glittery stickers with this one, the cards come in 2 sizes, this one is the smaller of the 2 cards
How cute is this? not sure you can see it but this is one of the specialty cards and has glitter on the tree and in the Elves hats, I've also stamped the saying and punched it out.
We're back to one of the small cards again, and a sticker from the pack for the saying
this one just didn't need anything, Santa has his bling, and a bling'y Ho, Ho, Ho!
Last but not least I've used 2 cards on this one, and a sticker, the bottom card is one of the specialty cards with the glitter on the snowflakes.

I just can't wait for Christmas, gotta find lots of people to send cards to now, 2 of my boys finish school really early so I reckon they're going to be taking Christmas cards in November to their mates and teachers!

If you've ordered from me in the past year, you should be receiving one the new catalogues in the mail (or in person if I see you).  If you're not sure if you're on the list, and want to make sure of it either make sure you place an order, or let me know!

I hope these inspire you to create

Sneak Peeks from the upcoming Holiday Catalogue

Hi there,
Can you believe it? the Holiday Catalogue is almost ready to go live on 5th September!  And guess what? I've got some of the new products (shhh!)  Well actually as a demonstrator I get to pre-order some of the new stuff (so exciting).  So I thought I'd share with you some of the bits I've had a go at making.

First up I want to show you the absolutely stunning Timeless Tidings Project Kit.  I never used to be into the Project kits but they seem to be getting better and better (either that or I just love the fact I can whip up cards in next to no time and these ones I don't even have to think about!)  Just an extra comment before you get to see them, I happened to be in the supermarket yesterday and was eyeing up Fathers day cards - you know checking them out to see what ideas I could garner from them...... and I nearly fainted when I saw the price of them! none of them were under $5 and most of them were quite simple printed cards.  So just sayin' that these stunning cards are only $1.75 each when you break it down, how's that for value?!!

I'm guessing you want to see them now after all the hype lol here they are as a group, the kit will give you 5 of each design.
and now for a little closer.....
there are gold stickers for each one........
 pretty little rhinestone jewels..........
You don't have to colour them in.......
There are also matching envelopes!

OH, and the stamp set itself that you can purchase to go with it is currently one of my favourites too! Look what I made with it.....
Cards don't have to be complicated to be lovely - this little tree (and the font in the writing) was what really drew me to this stamp set.  Can you see the gold shimmer on the card?
Guess what? another "new" product, although this one is a "returning" product.  After a few years apart I still love it lol, it's called Shimmer Paint, I've used it here by adding it to a Stampin' Spritzer, which are remarkably cheap at only $5 for a pair of them, topped it up with some rubbing alcohol, and spritz'd away.  I now need to buy more spritzers because there's 4 colours of shimmer paints which incidentally are only $14 each........ soooo worth it!

Well I think that's probably enough "talking" from me today I hope you like what you see!
New catalogues will be on their way to people shortly, if you've ordered from me in the last year I should be sending you one.  If not but you really really want one, place an order or just let me know!  If you can't wait, I do have Coffee&Cards class on next Wednesday, and my interactive class on Thursday 23rd (and those who attend will be getting one).
I hope this inspires you to create!
God Bless love

Thankyou and Tag Cards for August

Hi there,
Thought I'd share with you the cards you'll be receiving from me when you place an order this month.  If you're part of my Craft@Home group, you'll be receiving way more than this! (if aren't part and you want to know more, just ask)

So my first card is the Thankyou card, which uses the lovely Dandelion Wishes Stamp set, and also the Abstract Impressions Stamp set for the saying and underline.  Oh and the Detailed Trio Punch for the corners.
Then onto the tag card, which also uses the Abstract Impressions Stamp set,  the Itty Bitty Greetings Stamp set for the saying, which is cut out with the Classic Label Punch, and the tag itself is cut with the scalloped tag topper punch. Keep reading as I'll explain how to put it together after the photo.
Right, so if you are one of the lucky ones who's placed an order with me this month, here's how to finish off your card.  The tag is all done for you, that is my gift to you (and if you've ordered from me it should be on your bag)  having said that the ribbon will need to be tied at the top with the white thread, and trim down the ribbon and thread till it fits onto your card.  Also in you bag will be a piece of card with holes in it, use this as a mask to press colour through, choose a light colour (I used Gray Granite, such a great colour!) and use a sponge or dauber.  Daub or sponge colour over the mask and move it round your card till it has lots of dots on the background.

If you are ordering with me, there is a special this month from Stampin' Up! for every $90 you purchase, you'll receive a $9 gift voucher for use next month, don't forget to use my "open host code" WZTSTANH

I hope these inspire you to create

Interactive Cards for August (Waterfall Cards)

Hi There
As the title says, this month we are doing Waterfall cards on Thursday 23rd August, as it is a mail out as well as "in person" class I have tried to limit the amount of stamping involved as I can't mail out pre-stamped bits for people, so if you do order this as a mail out kit, you'll just need to find a couple of appropriate sayings from your stache! Having said that I'll tell you what I used :)

So the first card I just couldn't resist using this really cute Animal Expedition Designer Series Paper
I thought it was such a cute card that the saying "just a note to lift your spirits" from Lift Me Up Stamp set went so well with it.

The next card almost said Hello, but then I changed it to HB2U, seemed more "useable" like this.
this one uses the beautiful Petal Promenade Designer Series Paper, and the fabulous Large Letters Framelit dies, with a quick hark back to the Large numbers (no longer available)  And I've used the Hostess set Hand Delivered for the small flowers and sayings.

And a little video of them "in action"

Do let me know if you're interested in joining in the class $20 or getting a mail out kit $17
I hope for now this inspires you to create!
God Bless love

a few simple cards

Hi there,
Just thought I'd share a few simple cards I've made recently, as I'm teeing up doing a class for the guys and girls at the Chiropractors that I go to, as I'm totally unsure of their abilities when it comes to crafting, so I'll take these in with me and see what they think:
this Waterfront Stamp set is such an easy set to use, to create amazing images with!  Oh and I 've just discovered something really cool, on page 149 in the catalogue there are some cards featured showing this set with 2 inkpads, twine, a clear block and cards with envelopes, and although I'd heard about it I'd not really comprehended that Stampin' Up! have made things really easy and bundled them!!  check it out, Waterfront Cards Supplies set

Anyway onto the next card
This one uses the stamp set that goes with the Calligraphy Essentials Project Kit, Calligraphy Essentials stamp set, then some of the brights colours with daubers.  Nice and easy, and a pretty upbeat card.  What do you think?  I have to admit the cards in the project kit are so beautiful, the photos don't really do them justice!

On to the next card
thought I'd break out the Colourful Seasons Stamp set and Seasonal Layers thinlit dies (haven't used them for a while)
I've stamped the base leaves first with Crumb cake in, then over the top the skeleton in Soft Suede, then making a mask with the matching die, I've then daubed other colours over each leaf, I love the way it has turned out, and I think the linen thread matches in beautifully.  Give it a try, and let me know how you go with masking.

I have made a couple more cards, but I might just stick to showing the 3 today

I hope you have enjoyed this and it has inspired you to create knowing that you actually don't need all that much to create lovely cards.
God Bless love

Cards for August

Hi there,
Amazing isn't it how the year is just rushing past?  I have the cards sorted for August, Class dates are Saturday 4th in Maryborough at 10am, then Wednesday 8th in Laanecoorie at 10.30am and 7.30pm
Here they are, I'm hard pushed to choose a favourite this month, but this first one might be it!
it uses the beautiful "Healing Hugs" stamp set, and I had to use the new gorgeous purples!  Gorgeous Grape, and Highland Heather (oh what a good name lol)
This would have to come a close second, how cute is this little platypus? he's from the stamp set Postcard Pals.  Using spot of paper piecing, so bring your specs/glasses to class! I thought he teamed up rather well with the Seaside Embossing Folder, what do you think?
Next is this dinky little card made using the Whisper White Narrow Note Cards and Envelopes, and Oh my goodness! the stunning Petal Promenade designer Series Paper, and not forgetting the Darling Label punch box which comes with it's own set of stamps and 2 cute little stampin spots.
This last card is not quite finished as I expected the ribbon I want to use on it, to arrive on Friday, but alas no, so just imagine it with ribbon down the side! (hence the gap!)  I've used the Rooted in Nature bundle to create this card and also the Subtle Embossing folder, which gives the background the lovely textured look.
I hope these cards inspire you to create in your own space and I'd love you to come and join in one of my classes, do let me know if you can!
God Bless love

Something Saturday - Swaps I received at Backstage

Hi There Creators, Well as most of you know I went to a Stampin' Up! leadership event called Backstage in Las Vegas recently, I made up...
