Something Saturday - Hooray for Honeycomb Kit

Image
Hi there Creators, Today I thought we'd take a look at one of the new Kits that Stampin' Up! has brought out, it's really fun!, the name "honeycomb" kind of gives it away🤣 There are 9 cards to create, and it's a nice simple kit, would make an excellent gift for anyone who is thinking of starting off with card-making, there's no stamping involved - it's all "stick it together" and everything is included to do this.  At $32 it works out to $3.56 per card (which let's face it is pretty cheap for a card these days!) So here are the cards you can make (3 of each): Don't you just love the matching envelopes? The front of each card has clear embossed shiny bits on it (most obvious on the rainbow card at the top! with my photography) And there you have it, I haven't had the chance to play around and see what else I can create with this kit yet, so if you get it and do play around, let me know what you do! If you missed the video here it

Thankyou and Tag Cards for August

Hi there,
Thought I'd share with you the cards you'll be receiving from me when you place an order this month.  If you're part of my Craft@Home group, you'll be receiving way more than this! (if aren't part and you want to know more, just ask)

So my first card is the Thankyou card, which uses the lovely Dandelion Wishes Stamp set, and also the Abstract Impressions Stamp set for the saying and underline.  Oh and the Detailed Trio Punch for the corners.
Then onto the tag card, which also uses the Abstract Impressions Stamp set,  the Itty Bitty Greetings Stamp set for the saying, which is cut out with the Classic Label Punch, and the tag itself is cut with the scalloped tag topper punch. Keep reading as I'll explain how to put it together after the photo.
Right, so if you are one of the lucky ones who's placed an order with me this month, here's how to finish off your card.  The tag is all done for you, that is my gift to you (and if you've ordered from me it should be on your bag)  having said that the ribbon will need to be tied at the top with the white thread, and trim down the ribbon and thread till it fits onto your card.  Also in you bag will be a piece of card with holes in it, use this as a mask to press colour through, choose a light colour (I used Gray Granite, such a great colour!) and use a sponge or dauber.  Daub or sponge colour over the mask and move it round your card till it has lots of dots on the background.

If you are ordering with me, there is a special this month from Stampin' Up! for every $90 you purchase, you'll receive a $9 gift voucher for use next month, don't forget to use my "open host code" WZTSTANH

I hope these inspire you to create
God Bless love
