Hi there Creators, Today I thought we'd take a look at one of the new Kits that Stampin' Up! has brought out, it's really fun!, the name "honeycomb" kind of gives it away🤣 There are 9 cards to create, and it's a nice simple kit, would make an excellent gift for anyone who is thinking of starting off with card-making, there's no stamping involved - it's all "stick it together" and everything is included to do this. At $32 it works out to $3.56 per card (which let's face it is pretty cheap for a card these days!) So here are the cards you can make (3 of each): Don't you just love the matching envelopes? The front of each card has clear embossed shiny bits on it (most obvious on the rainbow card at the top! with my photography) And there you have it, I haven't had the chance to play around and see what else I can create with this kit yet, so if you get it and do play around, let me know what you do! Well I said the title out loud and my youngest son showed me a few creative punches, like this Mum, umm not quite the sort of punches I was thinking of lol!😀
Of course I'm talking about "papercraft punches", how to get the size to be bigger or smaller, handy to know when you have a saying that's longer than your punch, or when a small saying looks a little lost in the middle of your punch!
However I have taken a few photos for you, and I'll try and explain.... (click on the links to view the punches).
This first one shows the Delightful Tag Topper Punch, which has 3 widths, 2", 1 1/2", and 1", I love this for making my tags to go on bags or presies, you can do a larger one in colour, and pop a smaller one over top to create a nice layered effect down the side of the tag. Plus you can punch both ends of the card and tie it round something or create napkin rings..... (your imagination is your limit)
The next one I show in the video is this one, the Treasured Tags Pick a Punch, so called I'm guessing, because you can pick either side of it and create 6 different looks! Again this one has 3 specific widths, 1", 3/4" and 1/2".
Then we get creative, I can't remember the order I did these ones in, but if you measure the width of your punch (either direction) you can put one end in and punch it then put the other end in and punch that, so you can choose however long you want your tag to be.
I've used the Tailored Tag punch here, you can create great arrows with it!
then this one Elegant Tag Punch - this is so pretty on the corner of a card, or double ended
My favourite punch is this Everyday Label punch, this one is easy to enlarge in either direction!
And the last one I use is the Jar punch, again it's an easy one to enlarge up or sideways! you can have tall jars or wide jars, again the limit is your imagination

I found this amazing card on Pinterest (as you do) and thought I've got to have a go at that! it's by Mixed Up Craft, and here's the link: Tricorn Style Fold Card in case you want to see it too, I made mine up from an A5 card as I really hate to waste cardstock by cutting it to inches! So at some point I might do up a quick video just to convert it to A4 format for you! Anyway after doing up my draft I then proceeded onto my "proper card" and all was going well till I realised I'd scored it all wrong lol, however as I really don't like to waste cardstock I persevered on with it, and I really liked what I accidentally made, so I figured I'd share it with you, I'm pretty confident you won't find this anywhere else, and if you have a more inspiring name for it than my fancy fold mistake card, please let me know! Hi there Creators, I've been waiting ages, but finally this stamp set has arrived and it's every bit as cute as I expected it to be! So of course I had to play with it....... First up I stamped all the images using Black Stazon (they come in strips of 3 to match the dies) and cut them out with the big joined together die. Then got to work creating cards with them, I ended up with 5 cards in the end, Oh and I've just realised I forgot to take photos of the insides, bother! This first one didn't get anything on the inside, I stamped the tag up, then debated what I could do to lessen the impact of the white card, and came up with the idea of inking the little label then stamping it a few times without reinking, and repeating till the card was covered sufficiently. Hi there Creators, I have joined a Facebook group called Crafty Collaborations, which is a Stampin' Up! demonstrator only group, demos all round the world, and there are various blog hops to join in with, which I thought sounded fun and might prompt me to remember to do blog posts lol! The "Share it Sunday" is an, anything goes one, which I figured was a great start for me! Today I thought I'd share with you a bit of a sneak peek! Coming in January is our new Jan to July Mini catalogue and there is this AMAZING suite in it called Fine Art Floral, so beautiful! I've made 3 cards up and kind of ended up a bit "blue" not in feelings though - you'll see.... lol The first card is this one: I love the way it's got the 2 step stamping in the flower I've used one of the gorgeous Blue gems in the middle and bit of Wink of Stella on the flower too.
