December Class Cards

  Hi there Creators Wowsers December already, and Christmas is just round the corner! I made up 4 cards then decided I wasn't happy with one of them, so switched it out for a card that is literally the star of the show!  As it does require a fair bit of cutting on my behalf I really need to know who's coming a few days in advance so I can have the right amount of kits made. Class Dates are Tuesday 3rd Dec in my classroom in Laanecoorie and Saturday 14th Dec at Wattle City Church Maryborough - yes there is a big gap between the 2 due to the Carol Service rehearsal on 7th Dec that I'm in  (so exciting)!  As usual we'll be making 4 cards for a cost of $24. And on to the projects..... Let's start with the "star of the show", A 6 pointed Star Card, using the gorgeous Season of Elegance Specialty Designer Series Paper, and the Sweetest Star Punch . Wow I am so organised LOL  I've got the class for February ready already!

I'm using the gorgeous new Sweet Strawberry Bundle and matching Sale-A-Bration Berry Blessings stamp set + Berry Delightful Papers.  When I originally saw theses goodies I knew I needed to do something with them, you can only get the Berry Blessings Stamp Set + Berry Delightful Designer Series papers when you spend $180 on other goodies (then you can choose them for FREE!) by the way Sale-a-Bration is referred to as SAB for the rest of this post :)

  • Purchase $180 of Stampin' Up! goodies, include the Sweet strawberry bundle, and pick the Berry Blessings bundle from the SAB as your free item, I will send you the kit of plain papers, punched label pieces, instructions and bling for you to make a set of these cards using your own Berry Delightful Papers and new stamp sets for $7  to cover postage and materials.
OR
  • Purchase $180 of Stampin' Up! goodies, include the Sweet strawberry bundle, and pick the Berry Blessings bundle from the SAB as your free item, let me know that you'd like the instructions emailed to you and I'm happy to do that for free.
OR
  • Book a date to come and make these cards with me for $20 in my classroom (as there's stamping involved it's not one I can mail out, sorry)  However, I have managed to procure 2 of the SAB bundles so, all who book into this class will go into a draw to win my "extra" Berry Blessings Stamp set.  So book your place asap, as I am limited with the amount of Designer Series Paper I have!

Celebration of Tags

 Hi there Creators, I've been waiting ages, but finally this stamp set has arrived and it's every bit as cute as I expected it to be! So of course I had to play with it....... First up I stamped all the images using Black Stazon (they come in strips of 3 to match the dies) and cut them out with the big joined together die.  Then got to work creating cards with them, I ended up with 5 cards in the end, Oh and I've just realised I forgot to take photos of the insides, bother! This first one didn't get anything on the inside, I stamped the tag up, then debated what I could do to lessen the impact of the white card, and came up with the idea of inking the little label then stamping it a few times without reinking, and repeating till the card was covered sufficiently.  I'm quite pleased with the effect I got!   This second card is such a fun kid card, you might recognise it from my previous post on Global Design Project #264.  I've tied the ribbon at the end, then th

What's New?

  Hi there Creators,  Today I'm joining a Crafty Collaborations hop, this is a group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators from all round the world, cool eh?   This particular blog hop is What's New? and open to our own interpretation. Sitting out in my craft room I spied the True Love Designer Series Paper that arrived a few days ago, and decided on a spot of colouring in therapy, and the cards started from there..... This Designer Series Paper is black and white, and has some great images to cut out (if you don't mind a bit of fussy cutting) The first card I made with the paper was this one, I've cut the flowers out from one of the sheets of Designer Series Paper, and used Stampin' Blends to colour them in. With this first card I've also used one of the Gold Hoop embellishments which I haven't used before too, I have to say the metal ring is really quite sturdy you can see the Gold Hoop a little more clearly with this photo, I've used a bit of the Gorgeou
