Hi there Creators,
honestly where do the months go to?! Well in March I have the usual 3 classes (back to normal schedule) Wednesday 4th 10.30am in Laanecoorie, Thursday 5th 7.30pm in Laanecoorie and Saturday 7th 10am in Maryborough. Also in March is the Picture to Page show on 14th and 15th (this is in Kangaroo flat at the Primary School)
Anyway on to the cards we'll be making at the classes.....
First up: this card uses the beautiful
Morning Star stamp set it's one of the Distinktive stamp sets which means it
has a special texture that gives added depth and dimension in a single step, creating photo-realistic images (so cool!) I've also used the rather cute Golden Honey Specialty Designer Series Paper teamed up with a bit of Gold foil cardstock (as the Golden Honey has gold foil accents in it) The Golden Honey Paper is actually a Sale-a-Bration product, so you do have to spend $90 to get it for Free, (you can't just buy it singly).
Next up, I had a request to use these little fellas from Special Someone stamp set, and as my new dies
"Special Day Dies" for it hadn't arrived by the time I was making this my mind was wandering off to how we were going to celebrate Sam's Birthday (who in fact is 9 today!) and I was thinking of balloons...... and those weight things that keep them on the table (when they've got Helium in them) So here we are....
Special Someone Stamp set, and the
Balloon Bouquet Punch, I rather like it!
Onto creation #3 again I'm using a Sale-a-Bration product, this lovely cake from
Happy Birthday to You Stamp set is so lovely to colour in, I've used the
Shimmery White paper, so we can use the
Aqua Painters, and watercolour it in. Oh and I've also used the really pretty
From My Heart Faceted Gems.
And last but not least I thought maybe we could do a little something different, so we're making this cute handbag, cut and stamped using the
Dressed to Impress bundle, it really is a cute little handbag to put a special present into for someone, I also think it would make a nice little accessory for a small bridesmaid to carry down the aisle, or even for a spot of confetti! Anyway after making mine I started wondering if it tied in with St Patricks day as I seem to have made it rather green (green being one of my favourite colours! lol) conveniently it kind of does tie in as it's on 17th March 😆
And that is the line up for the 3 March classes! I'll aim to get another one done to show you Rosalies and my class projects for Picture to Page..... stay tuned!
But for now I hope these inspire you to create, and if you can make to any of the classes, do let me know!
Happy Creating,
God bless love
