Hi there Creators, Well we're 1/2 way through the month already, and Wow I now have 2 separate card Classes sorted for September!  the first is our regular class, which is what this post is about, the other is the special Gingerbread Man & Sophisticated Alternative Cracker class (click the link to see, should open in a new window). Anyway back to our regular class for September, which will be on Friday 5th; 1pm in my classroom and Saturday 7th; 10.30am Maryborough Class cost $25 for the 4 cards. As we'll be 4 months out from Christmas, we'll be making one Christmas card at this class (2 in Oct, 3 in Nov, 4 in Dec) 😃  gotta work your way up to it! Something Saturday - Perfectly Pencilled meets Fabulous Frames (quick Wow card)

 Hi there Creators

I bought this Perfectly Pencilled papers, as they are so gorgeous, but I don't really feel like colouring them in all the time (and I know some of my customers are not fans of colouring in) so thought I should come up with a quick and easy idea for making the most of them.....

I was thinking that Spotlighting on the paper would be quite pretty, and I guess this is a kind of "spotlighting"

This is the card I initially made:  Although at the time of the video I hadn't added the saying, what I've done is just coloured in the frames part of the card,

Perfectly Pencilled Papers, Fabulous Frames, Stampin' Up!

In the video I had planned something different to what actually took place 🤣 having said that I then had to make another card (see after this one) to show what I was going to do!

This is the card I made in the video: where I just turned round a couple of the pieces to display the other side of the designer paper instead,  I possibly could have got away without colouring it, but the leaves in the center really only needed minimal colouring!

What I had planned to show off in the video was just colouring the layers with dauber or blending brushes like this:

And if you missed the video and would like to see it, here it is.....

which one is your favourite?  I think the middle one is mine!

I hope this inspires you to create

God Bless love
