Something Saturday - Team Retreat Time

Image
Hi There Creators, Well some of my team and I have spent the last few days in Maldon at a gorgeous house purpose built for crafters to get together, in my video I've shown off some of what I've been creating plus what the others were creating, and a quick walk round the house itself. For the rest of this month there is a joining special happening, so potentially you could join in the next team retreat.  Check out the joining deal here: Join My Team .   I would love to have you in my team The CreateAbles. I made up the cards for my next "4 cards class" which I'll do a separate blog post on, and I've also made up a heap of cards for the Stampin' Up! Connect, Craft & Share Event happening in Bendigo (today, Saturday) it's for Demonstrators only (oh would you look at that another good reason to join my team) lol So the reason I've been busy squirreling away at cards for the event is that I'm doing a presentation at it (AHHHH) very exciting - on...

Class Cards for November

Image
Hi there Creators,  Here are the cards we'll be making at class on Friday 6th 1pm my classroom in Laanecoorie and Saturday 7th 10.30am Maryborough. Click on the photos to see a full list of the products I've used - you can also untick any you don't need and add the rest to your shopping cart with me. This first one uses the Addressed to You stamp set and surprisingly the Arches dies, - can you work out where? Next up is this So cute card with the reindeer heads from Christmas Crew (click the photo for the list of products used)  and there's some new papers used here too that will be available in November Card 3 is this one using the Shining Stars dies that were the Product of the Month for November, as I predicted they were ultra popular and sold out fast! (gotta be quick!) again click the photo for the products - couple of new ones here! (minus the stars sadly) And the last card is this one, using the gorgeous Garden Silhouette Hot foils die, without the heat or foil! ...

Good Thing Mosaic - Chain Card Swap A

Image
Hi there Creators, Just in case you're new to this Chain Swap (and have missed the other hops I've done)  I joined in from April to August in something called a "Chain Swap".   The best way I can describe it is Chinese Whispers for cards.  We took turns starting the chain off with our card, whoever starts it sends it to the next person on the list who CASE's it (Copy And Selectively Edit), they then send their card onto the next person and so it continues.  I'm fascinated to see how the beginning and end results turn out, each of these blog posts have links on them at the bottom to the others in the chain, so let me know what you think, and make sure you check out the whole round!  If you have come from the previous blogs you'll have seen the progression so far! Make sure you tap below to see the next one! This time I was playing with this beautiful light and airy Mosaic Garden paper, the colours are so Spring-like and refreshing!  I discovered ...

Sassy Sunflowers CreateAlong

Image
Hi There Creators, Wow I just realised I didn't do a post for this - oops!   Ah well, now to show off the projects, plus a couple of others that I made up with the left overs, the box is first in the video, then the 6 cards below.  If you are keen to see/purchase any of the goodies I've used, check out this link, and untick the ones you don't want/need: Sassy Sunflowers Products Used  sadly the Sunflower 3D embossing folder I used in the fancy fold card at the end has retired and went like hot cakes! Then I made up these 2 extra cards as you end up with a heap of left overs in your kit I created for you. I figured I could create a "blokey" card along with this too, by using the (not quite so pretty in my humble opinion 🤣) side of the Designer Paper What do you reckon is that kind of "blokey"? If you missed the video here it is: I hope this inspires you to create, and if you're keen to purchase the tutorial for this, head over to the tutorials part ...

I'm not going to spoil the surprise by putting anyone else's cards in (partly because I'd have to search through my classroom - or craft room to find them!)🤦‍♀️ If you have come from the previous blogs you'll have seen the progression so far! Here is my card I created this ...

Hi There Creators, Well today we're kind of going back in time!  When I first joined Stampin' Up! the Blender Pens were one of my absolute favourite colouring tools, they come in a pack of 3 and pretty much any waterbased ink/ watercolour pencils, even pastels you can use them with.

This is the card I started my round with, I wonder 10 cards later how it will have changed? For my card I have used Springtime scenes Bundle  (which is sadly now on the last chance list, however it might be worth checking out the individual Springtime Scenes Stamp set and Springtime...
