Something Saturday - Hooray for Honeycomb Kit

 Hi there Creators, Today I thought we'd take a look at one of the new Kits that Stampin' Up! has brought out, it's really fun!, the name "honeycomb" kind of gives it away🤣 There are 9 cards to create, and it's a nice simple kit, would make an excellent gift for anyone who is thinking of starting off with card-making, there's no stamping involved - it's all "stick it together" and everything is included to do this.  At $32 it works out to $3.56 per card (which let's face it is pretty cheap for a card these days!) So here are the cards you can make (3 of each): Don't you just love the matching envelopes? The front of each card has clear embossed shiny bits on it (most obvious on the rainbow card at the top! with my photography) And there you have it, I haven't had the chance to play around and see what else I can create with this kit yet, so if you get it and do play around, let me know what you do! Class Cards for August

Hi there Creators
my goodness we're almost into August already!  how did that happen?!
Classes next month start this Saturday, 3rd at 10am in Maryborough, then Wednesday 7th at 10.30am in Laanecoorie and Thursday 8th at 10.30am and 7.30pm in Laanecoorie.

So where's the cards Heather?? lol
First up..... I'm so pleased with the way this card turned out, you'd think the background pattern is a Designer Series Paper wouldn't you?,  but No! it's stamped using the Verdant Garden Stamp set, lined up (quite easily) on the Stamparatus  (how cool!!)  I do love green colours

Next up is this card, Ive been so keen to use this new stamp set and dies Tasteful Textures Stamp set, although the dies don't feature on this card (just wait a mo) I do love the fact the saying just fits into the Pretty Label Punch and oh my goodness the ribbon is so beautiful!! it's called Rococo Rose gathered ribbon.  I also think the Detailed trio punch works beautifully with this stamp in the corner, - also used for the ribbon holes.

Card #3,  uses the dies to match the above stamp set Tasteful Background Dies (see told you I'd get them in here!) lol  Also uses the Wish for it All stamp set, and the Daisy Punch and Medium Daisy Punch (love these 2 together)  Oh and not forgetting the Sprig punch for the leaves!
And last but not least, as it's Fathers day next month I thought I should add a "male card"  so grabbed out my "male'ish" stamp sets.... Geared Up Garage, and Sailing Home  I didn't add a saying so that people can decide what they want to add themselves.  Not sure if the lighthouse might need a little bit of colour, so it may have changed slightly before Saturday lol  Also used the fabulous Stitched Rectangle Dies, and some of the Night of Navy/Sahara Sand Bakers Twine Oh and a spot of brayering in the background!
Look forward to seeing whoever can make it!  I'm going to aim to bring some of my scrap bits on Saturday to have a bit of a "Stampin' Up! Jam" after as Ben is working till 3pm so I'll be hanging around till then!  So if you're free and fancy hanging around too, bring some blank card bases and use up some of my scraps!

Hi there Creators Well.... I found this amazing card on Pinterest (as you do) and thought I've got to have a go at that! it's by Mixed Up Craft, and here's the link: Tricorn Style Fold Card in case you want to see it too, I made mine up from an A5 card as I really hate to waste cardstock by cutting it to inches!  So at some point I might do up a quick video just to convert it to A4 format for you! Celebration of Tags

 Hi there Creators, I've been waiting ages, but finally this stamp set has arrived and it's every bit as cute as I expected it to be! So of course I had to play with it....... First up I stamped all the images using Black Stazon (they come in strips of 3 to match the dies) and cut them out with the big joined together die.  Then got to work creating cards with them, I ended up with 5 cards in the end, Oh and I've just realised I forgot to take photos of the insides, bother! This first one didn't get anything on the inside, I stamped the tag up, then debated what I could do to lessen the impact of the white card, and came up with the idea of inking the little label then stamping it a few times without reinking, and repeating till the card was covered sufficiently.  I'm quite pleased with the effect I got!   This second card is such a fun kid card, you might recognise it from my previous post on Global Design Project #264.  I've tied the ribbon at the end, then th

 Hi there Creators, I have joined a Facebook group called Crafty Collaborations, which is a Stampin' Up! demonstrator only group, demos all round the world, and there are various blog hops to join in with, which I thought sounded fun and might prompt me to remember to do blog posts lol! The "Share it Sunday" is an, anything goes one, which I figured was a great start for me! Today I thought I'd share with you a bit of a sneak peek!  Coming in January is our new Jan to July Mini catalogue and there is this AMAZING suite in it called Fine Art Floral, so beautiful! I've made 3 cards up and kind of ended up a bit "blue" not in feelings though - you'll see.... lol The first card is this one: I love the way it's got the 2 step stamping in the flower I've used one of the gorgeous Blue gems in the middle and bit of Wink of Stella on the flower too.
