Something Saturday - Louvre Windows Card

Image
Hi there Creators Today I thought I'd show you how to create this Louvre Windows card (little bit of trivia, did you know Louvres were invented back in the middle ages around 1500 years ago?, they were made of wood and put on pitched roofs to let out smoke, and increase circulation)😃 Anyway moving on.... I saw these kind of cards at the Picture to Page show, and of course the company selling them had dies to cut out all the components, but I figured I could make it work my own way. And so Voila: I made this card up before the video using the Celebratory Sips Designer paper (see all the links below) and here it is opened up (little difficult to photograph!) So this is the bit that's obscured above! Then in the video this is the card I made up, this time using the Beautiful Gallery Designer Paper (again links below) and the middle..... as you can see I used a bit more of the designer paper to cut out and add to the middle sections and again the obscured bit Links for products R...

Cards for April Classes

Hi There!

As my card classes restart again this Saturday thought I'd best pop up the creations we'll be making! (I'll do a separate post for the Interactive Card Class)
So first up, I've been wanting to use this little bunny for a while now, but hadn't got round to it, so finally......
and inside the card

It uses the really cute Sweet little Something Stamp set, and also teamed up with some of the wording from Bird Banter.

Next up is this one which was a request (do feel free to request certain cards, if you see that I've made them!)
As it uses the Brusho to create the Watercolour background it can be done in different colours, and the stamp set Watercolor Words, which obviously goes well with the watercolour look!

Card #3 uses the beautiful Sweet Soiree Designer Series Paper:
Gee this paper is gorgeous, it is silver embossed, I've teamed it up with the Picture Perfect Birthday Stamp set, to create the candles and lovely saying.

And the last card for these classes is:
Have to admit this is one of my favourite sets Magical Day Stamp set, such a great set for kids cards, and with this card you can choose which character you'd like on your card, and I'll have a variety of background cards colours to choose from too.  I figured the Sparkle Embossing folder went well with this set too.

Class dates are, this Saturday 14th April at 10am in Maryborough, and Wednesday 18th at 10.30am and 7.30pm both in Laanecoorie (my classroom).  I hope you can make it, and if you can't I hope this inspires you to create.  If you're looking for something different to create at home, check out my "Bundle of the Month".

God Bless love
