Something Saturday - Louvre Windows Card

Image
Hi there Creators Today I thought I'd show you how to create this Louvre Windows card (little bit of trivia, did you know Louvres were invented back in the middle ages around 1500 years ago?, they were made of wood and put on pitched roofs to let out smoke, and increase circulation)😃 Anyway moving on.... I saw these kind of cards at the Picture to Page show, and of course the company selling them had dies to cut out all the components, but I figured I could make it work my own way. And so Voila: I made this card up before the video using the Celebratory Sips Designer paper (see all the links below) and here it is opened up (little difficult to photograph!) So this is the bit that's obscured above! Then in the video this is the card I made up, this time using the Beautiful Gallery Designer Paper (again links below) and the middle..... as you can see I used a bit more of the designer paper to cut out and add to the middle sections and again the obscured bit Links for products R...

Stampin' Up! Sneak Peek of 2017 Occasions Catalogue

Hi Everyone,
To continue the sneaky peeky bits...  Jenny Stewart (one of my downline) came round today and successfully made 3! cards whilst I did a heap of prepping work for my 8 Christmas cards class tomorrow, and finally had the opportunity to create 1 card! - well 1 is better than none, and Jenny did say I could share her cards with you all😊

So, I thought I'd share Jenny's cards first, I'm going to get to play with this balloon at some point!
She has used the Up & Away Thinlit dies for this card and the matching Lift Me Up stamp set (no links at the mo, as it's not available till January 4th, unless you are a demonstrator)  however feel free to join my team, this is just ONE of the many perks of being a "demo"!

This next card (I might add Jenny likes Purple!)  She's used  the Blooms and Bliss Designer Series Paper (this one is current, in the annual catalogue, hence the link!)  She's also used The Balloon Pop- Up Thinlit dies, and matching stamp set Balloon Adventures.
This die is fabulous, it is also designed to go inside a card and be a pop out feature (I'll do a separate post on that soon), but doesn't it look great on the front of a card like this?

And last but not least again using the Balloon Adventures Stamp set and Balloon Pop-Up Thinlits.  this time also incorporating one of the new pretty Falling in Love embellishments

Do leave me notes so I can give feedback to Jenny, and I hope that this has inspired you to create!

God Bless love
Heather xox
