Hi Creators,
if you have ordered from me this month you'll receive a tag on your bag, I've included the extras to make this card, so thought I'd drop in quickly and explain how to pop it together!
first up here is the tag, it's small but cute! I've used the Tabs for Everything stamp set, which has this cool line stamp perfect size to cut out with the 1" circle punch, I've backed it with the 1 1/8" scallop circle punch, using the Champagne foil sheets, then it's hung using the rose metallic thread.
So then onto the card itself! take your piece of Designer Series 3x6" paper, and fold over around 1cm at one end of it, attach it down to your card (and attach the flap down) then attach down the die cut Tropical Thinlit piece. Then take your tag, add adhesive to the back of it and loop the thread around till your happy with the way it looks and attach this to your card too, Voila you're all done!
I hope you enjoy making up your "tag" card, and if you haven't ordered from me yet this month, then you've still got a few days left! Remember that until the end of March, for every $90 of products you purchase you get to pick a free Sale-a-Bration product! next month it'll all be over red rover for another year!
I hope this inspires you to create,
God Bless love

Cards for April
Hi there Creators,
Well almost at the end of March, and so here are the cards I'll be teaching in April. The class dates are Wednesday 3rd 10.30am in Laanecoorie, Thursday 4th at 10.30am and 7.30pm in Laanecoorie, then Saturday 6th at 10am in Maryborough. Do let me know if you plan to come to one of the classes (and haven't done so already).
Moving onto the next card, I think I had a couple of triangle off-cuts lying on my desk, so then of course I played with them, and Oh light bulb! a pinwheel card lol, I've used the Tropical Escape Designer Series Paper, such lovely colours in it, and paired it up with the Sunshine Sayings Stamp set and some Gingham Gala Adhesive Backed sequins (they're so pretty).
And the last card, I was asked for more heat embossing, so I thought it would be fun to have 2 embossed colours together - gold and silver (hope it works in class lol) I've used the Sheet Music Stamp set with the Better together stamp set. thought this saying was somewhat appropriate to the background 😆
Well that's it! I hope if you can't make it to class these cards inspire you to create in your own space.
God Bless love

Oh and if you're ordering between now and the end of the month, make sure you use this hostess code to go in the draw for the free hostess benefits: 2H4RBNQQ

Best start showing you the cards! This first one uses the stunning Country Floral Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, which is currently a Sale-a-Bration item till the end of March, so spend $90 and you can choose it for FREE! (you can't purchase this one at the moment). I've also used the Label Me Pretty Stamp set with Matching Pretty Label Punch, and the lovely chunky ribbon is Gray Granite Textured Weave Ribbon.
Card #2, I thought we hadn't used the Stampin' Blends for a while (don't forget if you're using the Blends they are alcohol markers so you need to use memento ink for your base lines so it doesn't smudge with the pens. I really love the way this card came out, I've used the Serene Garden Stamp set and Itty Bitty Greetings Stamp set.Moving onto the next card, I think I had a couple of triangle off-cuts lying on my desk, so then of course I played with them, and Oh light bulb! a pinwheel card lol, I've used the Tropical Escape Designer Series Paper, such lovely colours in it, and paired it up with the Sunshine Sayings Stamp set and some Gingham Gala Adhesive Backed sequins (they're so pretty).
As the silver/gold embossing is not so obvious in the above photo thought I'd give a close up too, this Sheet Music Stamp is really one of my favourite stamps!
oh and as you can see from this photo I've used the rectangle stitched framelit dies too (such a useful set of dies)Well that's it! I hope if you can't make it to class these cards inspire you to create in your own space.

And now for something different!
Hi there Creators,
I was playing around a bit with the pretty Sweet Pins & Tags, and discovered just how gorgeous they are! Whilst doing so I thought of something someone was saying the other day, how they used to like receiving the kits to create cards that the ladies in my Craft@Home group receive, and I thought maybe I could start creating limited kits to purchase.
With that in mind here is my very first March@Home Kit, it's limited to 7 kits in total (first in best dressed as they say), you'll receive these 3 cards to create, all the elements inc envelopes except, Stamps & Ink, scissors and adhesives, with instructions, the cost is $13 with $2 postage if I need to mail it to you.
thought I'd show you a close up of the gorgeous tags:
Do you see the shimmer round the edge of each? I've used the Butterfly Gala Stamp set for the sayings in mine, but you could substitute it with other sayings.
Do let me know what you think, or if you'd like to see @Home kits with specific themes!
I hope it inspires you to create.
God Bless love

Eastern Medallion Box & Card
Hi There Creators,
Turning my thoughts towards Picture to Page Show on the 16th & 17th March (oh my goodness this weekend!!), I thought I might make a 3D project (although it's not what I started making lol)
So, I was playing around with the Eastern Medallion thinlits, specifically the little 6 petaled flower, and having tried to do something else I suddenly thought how nice it would look if it was done in a row with maybe DSP underneath. Still might look nice done that way, just didn't turn out that way lol
however it does look rather nice with Gold glimmer under it! Anyway while I was making this card it occurred to me that a little box would look equally fabulous with these little flowers round the outside of it, drum roll........
And guess what? it does! although it's awfully hard to photograph, so I'll show you a couple of photos.
once I'd made the cute little round box, then I felt it needed a little cone shaped lid, I'm so chuffed with it 😊 One last photo....
you can kind of see with the underside of the lid to the box that it has a special piece that fits over the box, so the lid doesn't just slide off (did I mention I'm really chuffed with it? lol)
Ok well that's it from me, I'm not going to give you instructions for the box at the moment, as it really was just one of those things that gradually happened, and the card probably doesn't need instructions it's ridiculously simple, but let me know if you'd like instructions!
I hope it inspires you to create too!

Fancy Fold Arrow Card with Video
Hi there Creators
Well.... I found this amazing card on Pinterest (as you do) and thought I've got to have a go at that! it's by Mixed Up Craft, and here's the link: Tricorn Style Fold Card in case you want to see it too, I made mine up from an A5 card as I really hate to waste cardstock by cutting it to inches! So at some point I might do up a quick video just to convert it to A4 format for you!
Anyway after doing up my draft I then proceeded onto my "proper card" and all was going well till I realised I'd scored it all wrong lol, however as I really don't like to waste cardstock I persevered on with it, and I really liked what I accidentally made, so I figured I'd share it with you, I'm pretty confident you won't find this anywhere else, and if you have a more inspiring name for it than my fancy fold mistake card, please let me know! I was wondering about Fancy Fold Arrow card, what do you think?
So after all this talking I'm sure you'd much rather see photos!
here is the card I intended to make, the Tricorn Card:
however due to my "specialness" lol I made this card: I've used the Broadway Bound Designer Series Paper for this one, it's a Specialty paper, with really cool Gold foiling in it! also used the Balloon Bouquet punch and Piece of Cake bundle.
after having scored it wrong in the first place I figured I could add an extra score line, which is how the arrows at the top and bottom came about! I think it's kind of cool, what do you think?
I also made another one, cos when you're on a roll.... this one uses the pretty Petal Promenade Designer Series Paper along with the Well Written framelits.
Then finally I decided that I'd better make a video on it, so Voila...
In this one I made this card:
which I have to say out of the the 3 of them is my favourite, the Designer Series Paper is the one from the Sale-a-bration Catalogue Botanical Butterfly DSP, the only way to get this is through a $90 order, and it is really wow! I've also used the Butterfly Gala bundle (stamp set and punch)
I hope you enjoy this write up and video, do let me know what you think, or if you have a better name for the card than "fancy fold Arrow Card"
I hope it inspires you to create!

Cards for March
Hi Creators,
I know I say it every month, but but wow another month almost gone!! March is a busy month with Picture to Page show in Kangaroo Flat happening the weekend of 16th/17th March, click this link to find out more info.
Anyway on with the cards for March..... Class dates are: Saturday 2nd 10am Maryborough, Wednesday 6th 10.30am Laanecoorie, and Thursday 7.30pm Laanecoorie.
First up, I was asked for a spot of watercolouring, and I figured this card would work for a male or female card.
I've used the Well Said bundle that has heaps of words! (both dies and stamps) with a spot of watercolouring in the background.
Incorporating a bit more watercolour this next card has gorgeous watercoloured butterflies
And I just love, love, love! this stamp set Life is Grand, and the Butterfly Gala with the matching Butterfly Duet Punch are also fabulous!
Next up I had to use some of the absolutely amazing Sale-a-Bration Grapefruit Grove or Lovely Lipstick foil cardstock (which is still available for free with an order of $90)
It also uses the beautiful Dear Doily bundle, (oh my goodness the dies are just WOW)
Ok moving away from shiny stuff..... Last card, is a "pick one"
this uses the second release Sale-a-bration offering which is now available these Painted Seasons Designer Series Papers bundle with a stunning stamp set (Painted Seasons) and free when you purchase $180 of goodies.
