Something Saturday - Louvre Windows Card

Image
Hi there Creators Today I thought I'd show you how to create this Louvre Windows card (little bit of trivia, did you know Louvres were invented back in the middle ages around 1500 years ago?, they were made of wood and put on pitched roofs to let out smoke, and increase circulation)😃 Anyway moving on.... I saw these kind of cards at the Picture to Page show, and of course the company selling them had dies to cut out all the components, but I figured I could make it work my own way. And so Voila: I made this card up before the video using the Celebratory Sips Designer paper (see all the links below) and here it is opened up (little difficult to photograph!) So this is the bit that's obscured above! Then in the video this is the card I made up, this time using the Beautiful Gallery Designer Paper (again links below) and the middle..... as you can see I used a bit more of the designer paper to cut out and add to the middle sections and again the obscured bit Links for products R...

Picture to Page Kangaroo Flat #p2pcrafts

Hi Everyone,
Well Picture to Page show is over for us here in Bendigo again for another year!
Thanks to everyone who stopped by to say Hi, the door prize was won by a lady called Lorraine from Bridgewater.
I thought I'd share a couple of photos, I've already shown you the classes we were doing, so here are the Make&Takes we helped people create over the 2 days: On Saturday we had these 2 little cards going, that people could choose which they created for free.
the 2 above cards were made with the new (only available till the end of March) Reverse Words Sale-a-Bration stamp set (spend $90 on Stampin' Up! goodies, and you could pick this stamp set for FREE), and also the really cute Bookcase Builder Stamp set.

The Make&Take card for Sunday was this one, using the Beautiful You Stamp set and the Delicate Details Sale-a-Bration stamp set (again only available till end of March, and again could be yours for FREE with a $90 purchase)
Oh and it's hard to tell but we did use the Ombre Calypso Coral Pad to stamp the Delicate Details lace"y" stamps.
And here we all are at our Stampin' Up! Stand from left to right, Valerie Peacock, Rosalie Fitzmaurice, and Me (Heather McCarthy).  Thanks for all your help on the Stand ladies😊
I hope these photos inspire you to create

God Bless love
Heather xox
