Hi there,
Just thought I'd share a few simple cards I've made recently, as I'm teeing up doing a class for the guys and girls at the Chiropractors that I go to, as I'm totally unsure of their abilities when it comes to crafting, so I'll take these in with me and see what they think:
this Waterfront Stamp set is such an easy set to use, to create amazing images with! Oh and I 've just discovered something really cool, on page 149 in the catalogue there are some cards featured showing this set with 2 inkpads, twine, a clear block and cards with envelopes, and although I'd heard about it I'd not really comprehended that Stampin' Up! have made things really easy and bundled them!! check it out, Waterfront Cards Supplies set.
Anyway onto the next card
This one uses the stamp set that goes with the Calligraphy Essentials Project Kit, Calligraphy Essentials stamp set, then some of the brights colours with daubers. Nice and easy, and a pretty upbeat card. What do you think? I have to admit the cards in the project kit are so beautiful, the photos don't really do them justice!
On to the next card
thought I'd break out the Colourful Seasons Stamp set and Seasonal Layers thinlit dies (haven't used them for a while)
I've stamped the base leaves first with Crumb cake in, then over the top the skeleton in Soft Suede, then making a mask with the matching die, I've then daubed other colours over each leaf, I love the way it has turned out, and I think the linen thread matches in beautifully. Give it a try, and let me know how you go with masking.
I have made a couple more cards, but I might just stick to showing the 3 today
I hope you have enjoyed this and it has inspired you to create knowing that you actually don't need all that much to create lovely cards.
God Bless love

Cards for August
Hi there,
Amazing isn't it how the year is just rushing past? I have the cards sorted for August, Class dates are Saturday 4th in Maryborough at 10am, then Wednesday 8th in Laanecoorie at 10.30am and 7.30pm
Here they are, I'm hard pushed to choose a favourite this month, but this first one might be it!
it uses the beautiful "Healing Hugs" stamp set, and I had to use the new gorgeous purples! Gorgeous Grape, and Highland Heather (oh what a good name lol)
This would have to come a close second, how cute is this little platypus? he's from the stamp set Postcard Pals. Using spot of paper piecing, so bring your specs/glasses to class! I thought he teamed up rather well with the Seaside Embossing Folder, what do you think?
Next is this dinky little card made using the Whisper White Narrow Note Cards and Envelopes, and Oh my goodness! the stunning Petal Promenade designer Series Paper, and not forgetting the Darling Label punch box which comes with it's own set of stamps and 2 cute little stampin spots.
This last card is not quite finished as I expected the ribbon I want to use on it, to arrive on Friday, but alas no, so just imagine it with ribbon down the side! (hence the gap!) I've used the Rooted in Nature bundle to create this card and also the Subtle Embossing folder, which gives the background the lovely textured look.

Coffee & Cards July class
Hi there,
Next Wednesday is my Coffee & Cards class in Dunolly, and as I'm still on the "Christmas in July" bandwagon, we're continuing the theme! lol
We'll be making these bags (Striped Treat Bags)
Look like this: (front)
And this (back), I've used the Seasonal Chums Stamp set and matching Seasonal Tags Framelit dies
Then we'll also be creating this cute Gingerbread couple card.
I've used the Cookie Cutter Christmas Stamp set, and matching Cookie Cutter Builder Punch. Then the underneath red piece uses the Cable Knit Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing folder, and a bit of the silver foil card to create the "pan", with the corners rounded using the Detailed Trio Punch.
If you'd like to come and join us, do ask me for more details!
Don't forget if you're planning to order, that there is a special on Designer Series Paper this month, buy 3 get 1 free.
And if you do order, make sure you use the current hostess code: WZTSTANH, and you could "win" the Free goodies when I finalize the order.
I hope this inspires you to create
God Bless love

Thankyou card and Tag Card for July
Hi There!
Thought I'd share with you the thankyou card and tag that you can make up into a card that I'll be sending out this month to everyone who orders from me. I was making these as I was on my Stand at Craft Alive in Wodonga, here I am!
so I was little limited to what I'd taken with me, which in this case was the Brights and Neutrals Stampin' Write Markers, and some of the new matching Brights ink pads.
I'd seen so many beautiful cards made with both these stamp sets, so I succumbed! lol
This one uses the Tropical Chic Bundle, Oh wow it's so gorgeous! I just love the way it cuts out the fronds from the card, and leaves it intact. And Oh isn't the flower so beautiful? I've inked it up with 2 of the Stampin' Write markers, then used a dauber to blend the colours together. I've used the same technique with the leaves, and 3 greens, effective isn't it? If you want to see it "in the flesh" just make sure you place an order with me this month. Don't forget to use the current hostess code: WZTSTANH for your chance to be in the draw for the hostess benefits.
The other card I want to show you is this one using the Dandelion Wishes Stamp set, it's one that caught my attention as soon as I saw it in the catalogue! and I wondered how it would look in white on black, so here it is....
and I rather like the effect, what do you think? The black card part is the tag that will be on your bag when your order from me (my gift to you) and I'm including the extra bits so you can create a card with it if you want to.
Did you know that if you join Stampin' Up! in July not only will you get the amazing joining deal, $235 of products for only $169, but on top of that Stampin' Up! are throwing in one of the colour family Ink Pad Collections, Brights, Subtles, Regals or Neutrals worth $117!! wow, wow wow! If you want to know more about joining Stampin' Up!, and my team, click on the link above "Join my Team, the CreateAbles".
I hope these inspire you to create!

Interactive Card Class for July
Hi There!
Well continuing on with the theme of "Christmas in July" I have 2 Spinning wheel Cards to create.
the class date is Thursday 26th July at 10.30am and 7.30pm. Or you can order a kit from me, I can't stamp the images for you, but I can cut and organise everything and send instructions, both cards could be done with the same stamp set, or you could substitute one of your own.
First up is this one made with the Cookie Cutter Christmas Stamp set, I'll add a short video at the end, so you can see how the wheel at the side turns and you get 4 different pictures through the hole. (the Eskimo girl, A gingerbread man, Reindeer and Santa)
I hope you can join me to create these cards (class cost $20), let me know if you do plan to come, as places are limited, or if you'd prefer a kit to create in your own time ($17 which includes postage), let me know.
I hope these inspire you to create!
God Bless love

Christmas in July (next months classes)
Hi Everyone,
well finally, been meaning to do this for ages! we're going to do Christmas in July classes!
This post is for my 4 Cards class, which will be on Saturday 14th July at 10am in Maryborough (school holidays hence pushed back a week) Then Wednesday 18th July at 10.30am and 7.30pm in Laanecoorie in my classroom.
Here are the cards in no particular order, all very traditional Green and Red colours! lets face it when you think of Christmas those are the immediate colours that come to mind!
Alright so this first card uses the new Christmas stamp set "Mistletoe Season", I love the way there is a gap in the mistletoe (or in my case holly - red berries) for the ribbon to sit in, and it is a 2 step stamp set, the greenery has 2 stamps, and the bow is made up of 2 stamps too. Quite like the fun writing font too!
How cute is the snowman with his little bunny peeping out behind? This is the Seasonal Chums Stamp set, which has been around a while, but I've only just succumbed to it! the sayings are a bit small, but sometimes you don't need large sayings!

continuing on the Red and Green theme lol, Oh wow how awesome is this embossing folder? it has a really long name, are you ready?
Sadly this photo doesn't seem to show up the cute little Red Rhinestone jewels, it was hard to get a good photo with the dangly bauble in the middle!, Oh and the stamp set is the very versatile
Lastly the not quite so green (Coastal Cabana), but definitely still red, with one of my favourite Christmas sets "Snowflake Sentiments", again I love the script with this set, and the snowflakes are rather beautiful! I have this set in wood, but rather wish now that I had it clear, as there are 3 little snowflakes on one stamp, that I think I would cut apart if I had it in clear! I've also used the absolutely stunning Delicate Lace Edgelits Dies. There's 2 others in the set as well, oh my goodness they are all stunning!
Well that's it for now!
I hope you can make it to one of my classes (do let me know if you plan to come) if you can't make it I hope this has inspired you to create!

Subtle Embossing Folder
Hi Everyone,
I've had a couple of questions about the new Subtle Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, Oh there's a mouthful and 1/2! I'll just call it the Subtle embossing folder from now on...lol
I've had a couple of questions about the new Subtle Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, Oh there's a mouthful and 1/2! I'll just call it the Subtle embossing folder from now on...lol
The photos in the catalogue and online are very uninspiring! however if you like texture, you're going to love this, to make it show up in photos, I inked up the folder with a bit of Crumb Cake ink, so you can actually see it. I inked up both sides so I could check both out, as it does look different on each side (subtle'y different - oh I know *groan*)
So then I thought I'd better make something with it too to show it off, pretty much anything that would look nice with a bit of texture would look good with this I reckon!
I've teamed it up with the Tropical Chic bundle, and I'm so pleased with the way it turned out, I even got a "that's not bad, I don't mind it" from the hubbie! (high praise lol)
What do you think? are you a texture person? considering the folder is only $17 I think it's a bit of a bargain, let me know if you want to order it, or anything else of course, or you can hop over to my Stampin' Up! store and order from there.
I hope this inspires you to create!
God Bless
Love
