Something Saturday - What's In The Box? New Christmas Catalogue Goodies

Hi There Creators,

Today I figured it might be fun to show off what I purchased from the upcoming September to December 2024 Mini Catalogue (or as I like to call it the Christmas Catalogue).  If you watch the video you'll see all of my goodies, however I went to town with the Ephemera packs, (of which there are 3) Tags for the Season, Joyful Images and Joyful sayings (they kind of speak for themselves of what's in each!) I've also used the absolutely gorgeous matching Gold Dipped Mix & Match Cards & Envelopes, and here's what I created.....

I did end up adding a bit of the new Cherry Cobbler and Gold ribbon to some of the cards too and I used a stamp from the new Peaceful Season stamp set in the green reindeer card for the saying.

Oh and I almost forgot I took a photo of the envelopes so you could check them out too:

If you missed the video here it is:

the Catalogue goes "live" on 4th September through to 6th January, hopefully this has inspired you and whet your appetite for what's to come!

Next up, Friends for Life Bundle is used for this pretty card, love how delicate the heart die cuts are.

Ooo Card #3 uses new goodies! which ironically won't be available to purchase till 6th! (I'm not sure the links will work till then either) however it uses Peaceful Season Bundle (although again I'm not using the specific dies from it) and Painted Trees 3D Embossing Folder, also a new ribbon: Shaded Spruce Satin & sheer ribbon, and the lovely Spotlight on Nature dies, which are a series of circles with lovely borders.

Stampin' Up! Painted Trees 3D EF, spotlight on Nature dies

Something Saturday - Full of Life

Hi There Creators,

Today I thought we'd check out the Full of Life Suite more specifically the Friends for Life Bundle

Oh before I forget there is a Designer Series Paper sale on this month, check out out here: DSP Sale

So here are the cards I created, this first one I do in the video, I didn't end up adding anything else to it!  I used the Graceful Greenery Vellum for the window under the heart, such pretty vellum! (in case you don't know the blue underlined bits are links for you to check out the products! 😁

then I went nice & simple with silver and white, and I've left the window without anything in it.

Then thought I'd create a wedding card (now I need someone to get engaged or married!🀣)

And lastly figured I should use up the friend cut out from the first card, I had deliberately cut it from the middle of my piece of Garden green

Something Saturday - Changing Leaves Bundle

 Hi There Creators,

Today we're checking out the Changing Leaves Online Bundle, it's a really nice bundle for males & females, let's face it leaves are pretty generic!  I love that you can stamp, then cut & emboss together.

Here's what I created in the video, I had a sheet of A4 cut in 1/2, then cut down to 6",  which I ran through the embossing folder. Then quartered this sheet to create the 4 cards

Then I also showed how to line up the stamps (ideally using the die), in order to cut & emboss them.

Here is the card I made using the stamped, embossed, die cut leaves:

Then the remainder of the embossed card I used my brayer and added colour to the raised sections, to create these cards: Also using some of the Old Olive Glimmer Paper (which is part of a pack of 3 colours) and the Labelled with Love Punch.

I hope this inspires you to craft at home too 😍

Something Saturday - Frames & Flowers Specialty DSP

 Hi There Creators

Today I thought we'd check out this gorgeous Frames & Flowers Specialty Designer Series Paper, Wow it's so pretty!  I've also paired up the cards below with sayings from the stamp sets:  A Million Thanks Kit, Colourful Kaleidoscope (which may have retired as I can't find it in the store, oops!)  Irresistible Blooms, Latte Love, and Layers of Beauty.

I've used Notecards & Envelopes (which are very handy to use as they're pre-cut and scored 😍) plus some normal white cards that I've cut & scored.

I've also used (let's get all the links out the way....)  Blooming Pearls (gotta have blingπŸ’Ž)

And lastly ribbon, the iridescent ribbon I have isn't current anymore, but I did discover there's this rather lovely Iridescent 1/2" striped ribbon (must buy some!) and I also used Silver & White Sheer Ribbon.

So onwards to the photos!

Something Saturday - Your Day to Shine Kit

 Hi There Creators

Today we're onto the last of the 3 kits I bought a while back, this one is Your Day to Shine card Kit.  Again it's a pretty one, no stamp set this time hence it's cheaper at only $25, but you still get to make 9 cards with it! which at $2.78 per card is still cheaper for a decent card than what you'd buy in a shop! Plus you have the Crafting fix time and you're able to say "yes, I made this"😍

So here are the 3 styles of card it officially creates, although I have changed a few elements around, so if you do want to see the proper "official" way click on the link above 🀣

this first card is a mini card (with matching envelope) once again beautiful bling with these cards!  This card is pretty much true to their suggestion

Stampin' Up!, Your Day to Shine Kit
This next card got turned around a bit as I wasn't terribly happy with their design, I didn't think the butterfly stood out so well on their card (I could be wrong - seems unlikely but you never know.....🀣)
Stampin' Up!, Your Day to Shine Kit
And this last one I had to cut the foliage as I was a bit disappointed that on my card it would have pretty much been hidden by the blue flowers.
Stampin' Up!, Your Day to Shine Kit

Anyway I also created a couple of other cards using these scraps:

And here they are I've paired it up with the Fully Flowering Ephemera Pack, the fabulous Simply Said Stamp set (one of my go to sets for sayings!) and not forgetting a bit of bling: Neutrals Adhesive Backed sequins.

Have to admit every time I play with the Ephemera packs I end up getting really into it, I think it's because they're so much fun to pair up together! (and cheap at only $14 a pack, you get heaps to play with!)

Anyway if you missed the video, here it is:

I hope this inspires you to either purchase a kit or play with what you already have
