Cards for Classes in March 2017

Hi Everyone,
Wow hasn't February gone fast?!
I have worked out what we're doing in March, and here they are......

So, this first card uses the Sale-a-Bration "Inside the Lines Designer Series Paper", you can get this paper for FREE, when you purchase $90 of goodies at the moment (till the end of March)

It also uses one of the sayings from the "Suite Sentiments" Stamp set, great set of sentiments!

Next card is this one that uses the Sunshine Sayings stamp set, there is a heap of different words to use, so if the ladies don't want to say this, they can use other words (if you want to check out the stamp set, just click on the words in my text)

Up Next I just lurve the Moroccan Designer Series Paper, so here it is used for the butterflies (punches Elegant Butterfly and Bitty Butterfly)
It also uses the Stamp set "Birthday Bright"
Then last of all.......

I think this is my favourite card for the month! which is slightly ironic as it's pink and pink is really not my favourite colour LOL!
It uses the absolutely gorgeous stamp set "Beautiful You", and also another one of my fav's "Timeless Textures".  Also incorporating the Playful Palette Designer Series Paper for the paper piecing.

What's your favourite card from this selection?

Oh, and due to a request from one of the ladies at my evening class, at the evening class the ladies will also have the option to do a reflection technique card too (see below), either instead of this one, or just as an extra, (fee $3.50), if you know you're coming to my evening class let me know what suits you best 😊

My classes in March are:
Wednesday 1st March, 10.30am in Kangaroo Flat
Saturday 4th March, 10am Maryborough
Wednesday 8th March, 7.30pm Laanecoorie

If you can't make it to any of my classes, but would like to learn how to make any of these cards, do let me know.

I hope I have inspired you to create too.
God Bless love

CreateAbles Team Morning

Hi everyone,
We had our CreateAbles team morning this morning, which was fun. As there was only 3 ladies they all ended up with a raffle prize :)

Val taught us how to make this really cute little
Handbag/box, thanks so much Val, I'll have to have
a go at it! (we all took notes!)

I showed a spot of "how to use Project Life's Photo organising system", as I said to the ladies, I really don't get on well with Scrapbooking, as I find it uses more time than I have available, to do 3 photos, and nobody really admires it to the full extent of the amount of work I've put into it (if you get my drift!), so this I can do quickly/easily and at the very least my kids admire it! I plan to finish off this one and create one for my parents (as I'm terrible at remembering to send them photos) and once I've got one sorted the 2nd will be a synch!
So here's a couple of my pages, Josh's 11th Birthday (son #2) and Sam (#3) peeling carrots, shows you how easy it is to take your 4x6 photo and cut it in 1/2 or in 6th's to fit into the pockets😊

Lastly we created our Make'n'Takes, I'd seen a really cute card using the chickens and a chicken wire stamp, however lacking the chicken wire stamp, I worked out a different way using the Hexagons Dynamic Embossing folder . And me being me, actually the card ended up completely different! it was fun to do a bit of watercolouring.
When my phone decides it has enough charge to video again, I'll aim to do a video for the chicken card, so you can see how's it's created.
If you'd like to be part of my team, and have the opportunity to come to my Team meetings and do this "in the flesh" just ask me about it, or check out the tab above, about joining my team.  Sale-a-Bration goes till end of March and during this time when you join you get 2 extra free stamp sets on top of the already amazing joining deal!  Trust me 20% off your goodies, is sooo worth it - lol!

Anyway I hope this has inspired you to create,
God Bless love

Today's Party

Hi Everyone,
I thought I'd share what I taught at the party I did today, the hostess really likes the Beautiful You Stamp set so I created this card for the ladies to make:
They had a choice of the new Sale-a-bration glimmer papers to choose from to put behind their row of hearts, this one uses the Sweet Sugarplum, but also available in the pack is Mint Macaron, and Bermuda Bay (they're officially available from the 20th Feb to 31st March)  Also uses one of the beautiful lace trim stamps from Delicate Details stamp set, and the Serene Scenery Designer Series Paper

Then the other thing I wanted to show was the really cool Project Life Cards, so we created cards like these, using the 3x4" cards from 2 different sets of cards - All Year Long Project Life Cards, and Hello Lovely Project Life Cards. (first card)

We used the Decorative Label Punch on both cards, funnily enough I hadn't realised I'd used it for both until I came to prep for the cards, Umm just goes to show which punch is my favourite! (such a handy size!), we sponged round the edge of the card (if it needed it), and it's mounted onto one of the notecards and envelopes that are in the catalogue
Just goes to show that you can create cards really easily with not too much, the ladies were pleased with their creations.

I hope this inspires you to create, and know that you don't need much to create a cute card!
God Bless love

New Video - Reflection Technique using Beautiful You

Hi everyone,
Well finally the school holidays are over, and I have peace and quiet!
I'd been asked by a couple of people how I made this card: I have used the Beautiful You stamp set
So I thought I'd do a video!

However I also said at one point that I would show you how I have my room/equipment set up to do the videos!, So I got my trusty husband to take a couple of photos of me (before I started filming), he got a bit carried away, so I've picked (what I think is the best one) 😁  My room is also set up for a class this evening here, so I have just moved some of the bits back to create the space for the Vid!

Here's the Video!

And this next photo is what I actually made in the video!
Do have a go at the reflection Technique, I hope you enjoy it, and as I said in the video, if there's anything else on my blog that you're interested in seeing as a video, do let me know:)

I hope this has inspired you to create :)
God Bless love
