Something Saturday - Nutcracker Tags Kit

Hi there Creators,

Today I figured I'd crack open my Nutcracker Tags Kit (pardon the pun😃)

I did discover there's more than you need in the kit, (and me being me, I had to make cards out of the tags, so I ended up with an extra card - woo hoo💖)

Here are the tags this kit creates 

Having made them up I discovered this much extra:

So I made this:

Then I made up these cards with the Tags:

this first one I used the Glass & Gardens Embossing folder on the Granny Apple green 1cm strips.

This next one uses a bit of the Real Red Shiny Ribbon down the side.

Then a length of the Shaded Spruce/Soft Sea Foam Bordered Ribbon.

And lastly some plain real red card strips down the sides of this one.

All nice and simple, but they make lovely cards!

Something Saturday - Faux Pleated Lines

 Hi there Creators

As I mention in the video, I'm sure I've seen this technique used, but I'm not sure this is exactly what I saw (or what it's called) as I couldn't find it again! (typical!)

Anyway, we're going with it 🤣  I have used these in the video:

Encircled with Love Stamps, Delightful Decorative Dots, 2" circle punch, 2 3/8" circle punch,

How cute are the little Faceted Snowflakes in this next card?

You absolutely need your Paper Trimmer to do this - the lines are invaluable!

Then I ended up making my swaps for Backstage (that I'm off to the US for this Friday) the girls at class suggested I used the "green & gold" for Aussie😃

Something Saturday - Fancy Fold Card

Hi There Creators

Today I'm showing off an old card fold I created a few years back, and had a request to do a video on it, - Yay love requests💖 if you would like to see anything in particular do let me know! This is the card I created this time: using the Gingerbread Man Bundle

I said I'd share the measurements with you, but figured it might be helpful just to post the full instructions I have from the last card I made, when you look at them, just bear in mind that I've used a different "wave" look background on the finished card to the ones on the 2nd page (not sure why but it was 3 years ago🤣)
