Hi there,
My Goodness we're almost into November, I figured as we count down to Christmas that it might be a plan to do just Christmas Cards in Nov and Dec, so here goes..... The classes that we'll be doing these cards at are: 3rd Nov Maryborough 10am, Then 14th Nov Laanecoorie at 10.30am and 7.30pm
First up an Aussie Santa card...
this uses the So Santa stamp set, and the fabulous Pattern Party Decorative Masks.
Card #2 uses the Limited edition Snowfall thinlits and Snow is Glistening Stamp set, with a spot of Watercolouring in the background using the Brusho Crystal Colours on watercolour paper
Moving on to card #3 I've used one of my new fav embossing folders - Swirls and Curls, also uses the limited edition Snowfall thinlits, and white velvet paper to create the pretty snowflake. Oh and the stamp set/thinlit bundle is Merry Christmas to All.
And the last card is.... Oh my goodness this bow has to be my absolute favourite stamp currently! from the stamp set Wishing You Well, I'd originally stamped it 3 times, but then thought how cool it would look with the Merry Merlot & Copper reversible ribbon as one of the bows, what do you think?.
Ok well that's it! do let me know if you are hoping to make it to one of the classes, be lovely to see you!
I hope these inspire you to create,
God Bless love

A baby card
Hi there,
Well I was asked to create a baby card for the bus drivers daughter who's due soon, and after a bit of thought I had an idea what I'd like. My thought was that I'd like to create a little chest of drawers in a corner nook of a room, with the teddy from Baby Bear sitting on top, and a few toys at the foot of the chest. I'll admit I did my usual, I'll use this set......, then to realise that the set retired, and Oh no did I sell it? I'm relieved to say that even though it was in the sales box, it hadn't sold, so Bookcase Builder Stamp set lives to see another day in my craft room! lol
On to the photos of the card... here's the teddy from Baby Bear Stamp set, I cut him out so I could have him a little way from the wall, I made a little blanket using the Basket Weave Dynamic Embossing folder, and have "fringed" the ends of it. (so pleased with the way it turned out!) I wanted the little photo frame and baby bottle sitting up on the top of the chest, so I've used a small piece of window sheeting folded in the middle to sort it out.
As I mentioned, the teddy I wanted sitting on top of the chest of drawers, so......
I thought what would be better than wooden chest of drawers? so to the rescue Wood Textures Designer Series Paper! Of course when I showed it to the kids they tried to open the drawers lol (mum's not that clever!), or especially when I wanted the whole thing to lie flat to go in the envelope!, and this is how it flattens, the top of the chest of drawers and the teddy move up and one of the sides tucks back, the rest flattens down!
Yea! card accomplished and the bus driver was thrilled with it. I used some of the lovely wording from the Baby Bear stamp set, "Welcome to the World", "to have and to hold from this day forward" and "Hello Baby...."
Let me know what you think, would you like to make one of these?
I hope this inspires you to create!

Oooo Limited Time bundle!
Hi there Stampers!
from 1st November there are limited time items, it's called Snowflake Showcase (although if you're a demonstrator, you can get yours now!) The reason it's limited time is that once stocks run out that's the end of it, so if you think it's for you, let me know and I'll get onto ordering yours on 1st November! (I suspect it'll be popular) In the "showcase" you purchase the products individually, there are:
Ok so, "show me Heather" alright! lol
here are some of the cards I've had fun making with it so far:
this was my first card I made, as you can see Happiness Surrounds stamp set isn't Christmassy!
and a close up of the flowers, uses the dies from the set, and just a spot of sponging over them, with the Twinkle adhesive backed sequins in the centre of the flowers (they look way better in real life than I can seem to make them look in a photo!)

(I suspect it'll be popular) In the "showcase" you purchase the products individually, there are:
- 2 different photopolymer stamp sets: Snow is Glistening ($37), and Happiness Surrounds ($30)
- 1 set of dies that cuts out from both stamp sets (and more) Snowfall thinlit dies - it's got 20 dies in it! and it's only $68!
- fabulous snowflake trinkets (they're so pretty) 20 metallic snowflakes for $12.75
- White Velvet Paper (Oh it feels so good....lol) two 12x12" sheets priced at $8.75
Ok so, "show me Heather" alright! lol

next up I made a Christmas card with just some of the beautiful snowflake dies and the Snow is Glistening Stamp set, I've added Rhinestone Basic jewels to each of my snowflakes
Then I continued on with the snowflakes..... and combined the stamp sets (as you do!) there is a large snowflake that cuts out, and I thought it would be good to use the negative image too, which is what I've done with this card. The words are from the Snow is Glistening stamp set and the stamped design image is from the Happiness Surrounds set.
couldn't resist a bit of the Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint on the inside snowflake!
Then I had to use the largest snowflake (obviously not the pre-cut out one that would be way to logical- still playing with that)
Then I moved on again (back to the Snow is Glistening Stamp set) and probably the main reason I bought this set
Just love this tree!, I've used a bit of Wink of Stella Clear over the snowflakes, makes them glisten
And the last photo I have for you today is all the dies cut out, I figured if I cut them all out and took a photo it's easier to see them and work out what I wanted to do with them.
So if you think these look like goodies you'd like to add to your collection, let me know (as mentioned I can't order them till the 1st Nov for you) however if you are thinking of joining Stampin' Up! you can get them now! by either adding them to your own choice starter kit, or get the special starter kit deal: Ready Set Starter Kit (scroll down to see the limited time option) and then purchase them at 20% off!
I hope this inspires you to create.

Interactive Card Class - Double Slider Cards
Hi there,
Well after Slider Cards last month, we're now onto Double Slider Cards, slightly different in that there's no "pop-up" element, but totally cool! The class is on Thursday 18th October, as usual this class is available as a mail out class $17 mailed out, or as an In Person class $20, I'll be providing full instructions and doing a video to go with it.
However I'm pretty sure you want to see the cards lol
Card #1 is this cute quirky elf card using the cute Santa's Workshop Specialty Designer Series Paper..... this is it closed
then pull on the side sticking out, and voila.....
then Card #2 is this more elegant card, using the Hometown Greetings Edgelits, the Merry Christmas to All bundle, and the Vegas Gold Shimmer Paint (ooo love that Shimmer paint lol)
And then opened, you can pull on either side and the other side slides open too
and a little video to show them in action....
Do let me know if you're keen to be part of this class or would like to order a kit for yourself.
I hope these have inspired you to create!
God Bless love

Special Christmas Decoration Class November 2018
Hi there,
Just thought I'd let you know about an extra class I'm offering in November on Thursday 22nd at 10.30am and 7.30pm (or you can order a kit) ask me for more details about this.
And here is the main attraction .......
I'm so pleased with the way it turned out it uses the beautiful Joyous Noel Specialty Designer Series Paper, I've used the Merry Christmas to All Stamp set for the middle of the decoration, and the absolutely gorgeous Merry Merlot & Copper Reversible ribbon.
Just in case you want a bit of a close up of the middle and that gorgeous ribbon......
In the class you will receive a whole pack of the Designer Series Paper and a Tombow Adhesive to use in the class and to take home for more use. And as an added extra, I will have a few extra bits ready for you to create some cards at home with the left over cut off pieces of Designer Series Paper and some extra instructions to create these cards:

With these cards I've used my favourite stamp set from the Holiday Catalogue, Timeless Tidings, but potentially you could use another stamp set with some lovely sayings instead.
The in person class cost is $35 per person, and I need places booked and paid for by 12th November.
If you'd like to purchase a kit, and are happy to cut your own Designer Series Paper (it's pretty simple) then we can get away with $7.95 postage. However if you'd prefer me to cut it all for you, I think the postage would be more, I'll have to check with Aussie Post.
I hope this class piques your interest :)
And I hope it inspires you to create!
God Bless love
