Something Saturday - Time for Celebration Ephemera Pack

 Hi there Creators

Today I'm showing off this Time for Celebration Mix & Match Ephemera Pack because I discovered something really cool...... They're sticky backed!  I totally recommend having your Take Your Pick tool handy for removing the backing.  Here are the links for products I've used in these cards:

Sweet Jar BundleOld Olive Two-Tone Cardstock, Green "Luck" card

Beautiful Butterflies stamp set,  Petal Pink Two-Tone Cardstock Peachy Hearts Celebrate Card

Simply Said Mix & Match Stamp set,  the Tools card and Disco Ball Card

I also added some Rhinestones to the ones in the first 2 photos (let's face it gotta have bling!)💎

Then I got carried away and made a heap more......  I pressed out all the images then put them into piles of things I thought would go well together (Christmas was the easiest pile 🤣)  But it's really cool that there's a bit of everything in the Ephemera.

These Christmas cards I used Jar of Joy Stamp set and the Real Red & White Adhesive backed Peppermints  for my "bling"

Something Saturday - Pop Up Pals Kit

 Hi there Creators,

Today I thought I'd show off this kit, which is really cute!  Would make great kids cards (and even some Big kids would enjoy them I reckon!)  It's the Pop Up Pals Kit (click the link to see it) you'll get to create 4 individual cards, and I think a bit of a bargain at $17.50 (just under $4.50 per card) which if you have had to buy a pop up card recently I'd imagine they are a lot more than that!, plus the added bonus of being able to say "I made it" 😍

Ok, so here are the 4 cards you'll create with this kit:

Then the insides of the cards:

How cool are these cards?!  I love the pop out elements in them (and in fact even Tom (hubby) was impressed🤣)

Something Saturday - Long Time No See

Hi there Creators,

Well today I just had to show off this idea I had for my new stamp set: "Long Time No See" (click the link to see it)  I couldn't resist the idea of making the bodies longer, with pull out pieces.

This is the one I started in the video all finished:  I've used the Regals Stampin' Write Markers to colour my Alpaca & Christmas Decorations in, and some of my favourite bling; Drusy Adhesive Backed embellishments, Oh they are soooo shiny! 😍

Long Time No See, Stampin' Up!

Long Time No See, Stampin' Up!

I'm so happy with the way it turned out!

Then of course I had to have a play with the sausage dog.....  using the Brights Stampin' Write Markers this time, and the Happy Labels Pick a Punch to create the Ticket look for the sayings

Long Time No See, Stampin' Up!

Long Time No See, Stampin' Up!

I took a couple of "how to" photos as I was making this second card and thought I'd share with you:

First up stamp the dog on the top piece of card

Then  add some body to him, plus stamp his tail and extra body onto other card, and cut out, then cut a slit at the end of his body, so you can slide in the second body section.  the extra small rectangle of card, is to attach to this second body part so it won't slide out completely once the card is created, as you can see in the next photo

Then add some Adhesive Strips, stick it down to your card, and voila one sliding "behind"

In fact it's quite simple to create, and really cute!

Cards for August Classes

 Hi There Creators,

Being ultra-organised (or so it feels) and putting up the cards we'll be creating at classes in August.  If you can make it, the Laanecoorie Class will be Friday 1st at 1pm, and the Maryborough one will be Saturday 2nd at 10.30am.  Let me know if you plan to be there.

Remember to click on the links below if you want to see the products in all their glory😃

First up is this card, Oh my goodness the Extraordinary Flora Bundle and Washi Tape are amazing! I've teamed it up with the Inspiring Imperfections bundle, and the Misty Moonlight two-tone cardstock

Extraordinary Flora, Inspiring Imperfections, Stampin' Up!

Next up using the Inspiring Imperfections bundle again, and the funny Long Time No See Stamp set, I couldn't resist creating a Genie in a bottle 🤣  teamed up with the words from Birthday Celebration Stamp set, and the Sweet Jar Builder Punch to create the lid

Card 3 uses the hilarious Not 29 Anymore Stamp set, I knew I had to have this one as soon as I saw it! Also uses the candles from the Sweet Jar Bundle (the punch used in the card above)

Not 29 Anymore, Sweet Jar Bundle, Stampin' Up!

Last but not least this card uses the Charming Day Bundle, which I used in one of my videos not long ago, gee these dies are pretty!

And that's it folks!
I hope if you can't make it to either of the classes, that these cards inspire you to create at home.

Something Saturday - Sunflower 3D Embossing Folder

 Hi There Creators,

last Saturday I showed you this embossing folder: Sunflowers 3D Embossing Folder, which is absolutely gorgeous! Its a large A5 sized folder.  Today I thought I'd show you how I created the 2 pieces I showed off last week, you'll need (obviously the embossing folder!), a Stampin' Brayer, inks and Blending Brushes.

And here's what I created: I ended up cutting one of them into 1/4's and doing something different with each 1/4

Sunflowers 3D Embossing Folder, Stampin' Up!

Sunflowers 3D Embossing Folder, Stampin' Up!

then the next one I cut up into 2 long strips
Sunflowers 3D Embossing Folder, Stampin' Up!

If you've watched the video, you'll know I had to cut out a section owing to inking it up wrong, so I've cut this next one in 1/2 the other way, and created these 2 cards:
Sunflowers 3D Embossing Folder, Stampin' Up!

Sunflowers 3D Embossing Folder, Stampin' Up!

then lastly I kept one whole and created an A5 sized card front from it:
Sunflowers 3D Embossing Folder, Stampin' Up!

With this one I ended up embossing another piece and cutting some flowers out to add them up on dimensionals.  I'm quite proud of it and hubby reckons its one of my best cards (high praise!)  Absolutely no idea what I'm going to do with it (other than displaying it in my class room🤣)

One of things I thought I should highlight to you is that I decided to use my fine tip glue pen to add an interesting "plastic'y" texture to some of the flowers,  usually I paint it on pretty thick to give a definitive shine, but this time I painted it on thinly and let it dry and you can see it gives a slightly wet/shiny look to it - must remember this in the future!

Something Saturday - Show & Tell July 24 Online products

 Hi there Creators

Today I have a new parcel of goodies to share with you, these products are now available online, I've added the links to each so you can check them out.

First up I showed the stunning Sunflower 3D Embossing folder (it's a large one being A5 sized)

I think I'll be showing off a couple of ways to use it next week (stay tuned!)
Then I moved onto the "Not 29 anymore" stamp set, which I absolutely love, it's definitely a keeper well after it retires!
Next up is Label Me Grateful Bundle (Stamps & Dies) I do like that the dies can be used on their own if you're not keen on the stamp set (personally I liked both)
Next up is a Suite, the Floral Charm Suite Collection Oh so pretty!  I've given you the link to the whole collection but when you check it out, there is a drop down box to pick out individual items if you don't want the whole kit & caboodle!
And last but not least although it's not totally new, it is to me😃
The Kintsugi Inspirations Suite (again the link to the whole suite, but same scenario as above)

I talked about doing something with the Sunflower 3D embossing folder, but in the end I couldn't resist using the floral Charm Suite to create these 2 cards:
Label Me Grateful, Charming Day Dies, Stampin' Up!
After I'd coloured this first flower up, it reminded me of the rose from Beauty & the Beast, so as I didn't have a specific dome shape to fit it into I went with the die from the Label Me Grateful Bundle, and created the pedestal using the Labelled with Love Punch, and I figured the saying "so grateful for that heart of yours" went well with it
Label Me Grateful, Charming Day Dies, Stampin' Up!

Then this one used the outside of the cut out from the above "dome" I actually cut off the leaves to colour them up then fitted them back on once I'd stuck the flowers down.

Ok, well that's it, if you missed the video here it is:

I hope this inspires you to have a go too (and possibly purchase some goodies?😃)

Something Saturday - Triple Ripped Card

Hi there Creators

I saw a quick link thingo of a card on Facebook, and sort of noted what she did - which was really cool, so set about having a go and I have no idea if it's the same as I can't remember what it was called or who had done it, but it worked out well anyway, and now I get to share it with you🤣

So here we are......

You might recognise this one as it's one in my "card conglomerate" of Mega Class cards for 19th July (if you're keen to come to the Mega class or get it as a mail order class, you've got till 2nd July to book your spot) check out the blog post on the class here: July Mega Class

Sweet Jar bundle, Stampin' Up!

Then in the video I made up the "bones" of this card, which I've then stamped up using the Inspiring Imperfections bundle (great stamp set & dies)

Inspiring Imperfections, Stampin' Up!

Inspiring Imperfections, Stampin' Up!

For the base I've used the Misty Moonlight two-tone cardstock, it's kind of cool as it has the same colour on both sides, just one light and one darker.  I've cut this to 9" x 4" and scored at 6"

Then I've used Timeless Plaid designer series paper cut to 3" x 4" and I've used 3 different pieces of this.

Plus you'll need a 4"x6" piece of window sheet.

And then your choice of stamps.

If you missed the video here is it:

I hope this inspires you to create.

God Bless love
