Hi there Creators, Today I was playing around with this new set I received, and then couldn't resist sharing it with you too. Oh My Goodness, wow this "Simply Sparkling" is such a great bundle, I have a feeling I'll be using it a fair bit in the future! It's an "online exclusive", which simply means it's not in the catalogue, but it is in the "online catalogue" as it were. Anyway onto the creations..... This bubbles die is the main reason I was so attracted to this set, and these are the 2 mini cards I made in the video:  How cool is this die?! (so exciting) I have to admit the little half orange segment looked so much like a mini pizza when I first cut it out...... something to try....... I was trying to work out what the little heart shaped piece is meant to be, and have now worked out it's meant to be a peach - Ah ha light bulb moment! 🤣  (also works well as a heart!)  The dies are absolutely fabulous!  Hi there Creators Here are the cards we'll be creating at my classes in August.  Class Dates are: Tuesday 6th at 2pm (it's been a bit all over the place the start time, so we'll try 2pm this time 🤣)  Then Thursday 8th at 7pm (both these are at my classroom in Laanecoorie), then Saturday 10th at 10.30am at the Wattle City Church in Maryborough (Argyle Road) Card 1 uses Latte Love Bundle , I did eventually succumb to buying it🤣 figured at some point coffee/tea would come in handy. Then next up is the Citrus Blossoms bundle and matching , cool thing with the dies is they match the Mediterranean Blooms Designer Paper 😃 Next onto a set that I really loved when I first saw the catalogue called You are Beautiful.   The sayings are lovely I'm planning at some point to mix and match some of the words in the sayings to create "You are Amazing" And another set I succumbed to is the Adventurous Sky bundle , although I haven't used the dies in this card, I totally

 Hi there Creators Today I thought I'd break open a new kit - Expressions of Kindness . Oh my goodness this kit is absolutely gorgeous! I love that the most beautiful card base is actually double sided and has the pattern on the back as well as the front (very handy if you're happy to cut it in 1/2 and pop it on spare card bases, so you can make way more than the kit is intended for!)  It also comes with a mini stamp pad and stamp set, bonus! 😃 these are the 2 card styles that the kit officially makes:  Oh and how gorgeous are the matching envelopes?!💖 then I cut one of the (more beautiful) cards in 1/2, the front of the card has the gold foiling on the front of it, I'm a bit partial to gold! 🤣  I didn't change much with it, I just used the ribbon flat across the card, rather than folded up behind the saying, and gold heat embossed the saying.  Hi there Creators, Today I wanted to show you how to create a checkers board, as I recently got the Latte Love Bundle (totally unrelated I know) but there are a couple of little oval shaped die pieces in it, that set me in mind of checkers. However before this, I woke up the other day with an image on my mind that I thought would make a great card, it was a little fiddly adding all the squares to the background, which I then sanded to create the oldy, woldy look, but I really love the look, what do you think? Anyway moving onto the cards I create in the video, then I'll give you the measurements, I wasn't sure that the little ovals from the Latte Love bundle were going to work once I had the board made, but discovered that if I stacked them they did work!  I then discovered (disappointingly that checkers only go on the black squares, and of course the black on black don't show up so well!)😔  However I thought it would be a bit tongue in cheek to add this saying 🤣the say

 Hi there Creators,  Today we're having a look at this gorgeous Hello Hollyhocks Card Kit at only $25 it's a bit of a steal!  with this kit you create 9 cards.  Although potentially you could create more, by cutting the base cards up as they are coloured on both sides, Here are 3 of the cards I created with this kit then a bonus card This was my "off cut" card as the frame came out of the bits for the green card, it seemed a shame just to throw it out!  I've teamed it up with the beautiful Stippled Roses Stamp set and matching Stippled roses dies, Oh and not forgetting the bling...... Adhesive Backed Pearl Trio 💖 How gorgeous is this bling though from the kit?!  Hi There Creators, Today as I was cutting things with my Paper Trimmer I thought Oh I wonder if I've ever taught people how to create frames with their trimmer, so just in case I haven't, here we go......... In the video I simply show how to position the Trimmer and cardstock to be able to cut out a rectangle from the middle of it and create a frame, I find it really handy to do this, you can create a great effect without lots of bulk, for example with this card, if I was to use single layers it would end up with 7 layers and fairly heavy and bulky, in some respects it's like faux matting! And then on the plus side you end up with the inside pieces to also use......  Love conserving cardstock! These 2 cards use 3 of the new In Colours for this year: Shy Shamrock, Petunia Pop and Pretty in Pink, so of course they needed the new In Colour bling: In Colour Shimmer Gems .  And the Stamp/Punch set I used is Keeping Tabs .  I then may have got a little carried away, with maki

 Hi There Creators, I had this fabulous idea of how I could have the tools cut out from a card, and sticking up, until I tried it and discovered it didn't work 🤣  Then I had another fabulous idea, so let me know what you think..... I've used the Trusty Tools Stamp set and matching Trusty Tools Dies .  Which I'm happy to say have carried over from last year's catalogue, such a handy "blokey" set! (and of course some of us females are also tool nuts 🤣) Here is the card I ended up making in the video: I have added some of the Take to the Sky designer series paper to the background of it, and I'm really happy with the way it turned out And in this last shot you can see the "shadow" effect of the tools on the back.  I have cut the tools 1/2 out from the card, then added the layer of tools (stamped) on top, then added a layer of gray under the cut away to create the shadow. I ended up preferring it as a triangle fold rather than an up and over, whic
