 Hi there Creators Coming soon to a classroom near you.......🤣 Well, specifically Laanecoorie on 2nd May 1.30pm, then on 10th May 10.30am in Maryborough.  (the links for new goodies won't work till after the catalogue goes live on 7th May) First up using the new Turtle Textures Embossing folder then continuing on with new goodies, and the Cheers & Sips Bundle and the Celebratory Sips Designer Series paper , the Glass & Gardens Embossing folders & the Holographic Resin Dots  Although to be honest I recommend getting the entire Celebratory Sips Suite as the only thing missing from my round up is the ribbon! but wait the ribbon got used on this card.... Gold Striped Mesh ribbon (see told you, you need the suite!)🤣 this card uses the Spring Corners Bundle . And last but not least using the new Beautiful Gallery Designer Series Paper, and a spot of heat embossing If you can make it to either of the classes, do let me know, if you can't I hope these inspire yo...

Ok so onto the kit, it makes 6 cards (approx these ones), I say approx, because I accidentally put the wrong size dotty rainbow on 2 of them🤣

Then I had a piece left over that the dotty rainbows came out of, and felt a need to use it!, so this is what eventuated.....

here is the piece..

And this was the first card, I used the Make a Wish from Birthday Celebration Stamp set (which actually has really cool dies with it, so I've given you the bundle link)  I've added a couple of bows as "pots at the end of the rainbow"🤣 and some of the amazing Sunny Day Iridescent Dots which incidentally I also added to the cards above!

Then this one I teamed up with one of the other Sale-a-Bration products "Day to Celebrate" to create the streamers and saying.

Something Saturday - Twisted Star Ornament

 Hi there Creators I saw this cool star ornament in another video, and had a bit of a play around with it, ending up with this.... (with a retired Designer Series Paper) Then I ended up making this one (somewhat puffier 🤣) in the video with the current Natures Sweetness Specialty Designer Series Paper  Ok, to make this you'll need 16 strips of 15cm x 1cm Designer Paper & glue (I used tombow) Use 8 of the pieces for each side of the star, you twist them like a Breast Cancer ribbon, but with a small "head section" and have a gap of around 4cm at the free end, and around 4cm of the 2 free arms (if that makes sense, it should if you've seen the video!) you then glue 8 of the "heads" together to make the middle of the star then the tails glue together to form the points. once you've made up 2 of these, you then glue them back to back, adding a piece of twine into the last point If you missed the video here it is:  I hope this inspires you to create one t...

 Hi there Creators, The Global Design Project #261 challenge this week is a colour challenge: (check out the link to see what others have done)   So I thought I'd join in again, and try out a card type I've seen someone else show off recently  I know it would have been on one of the Stampin' Up! facebook pages, I can't remember exactly what she used, but I liked the 3D'ness of it 😄 and I have no idea what the card is called possibly Diorama card would work?  anyway I set to work trying to work out how she'd done it (although I suspect if I could re-find hers she'd probably already done instructions lol)  I always seem to take the hard way..... So here is my "take" on it using these colours.  The inside is the impressive bit..... The outside not so impressive, but check out that gorgeous Gilded Autumn Specialty Designer Series Paper !  I've teamed it up with the Ornate Layers Dies , and the super soft ribbon from the Basket Weave & Metall...

Classes for March

 Hi there Creators, Oh my goodness we're at the 1st March, where did the last 2 months go?!  Thought I'd better hop on and let you know what we'll be making for our cards in March. Classes are Friday 7th at 1pm my classroom in Laanecoorie, and 10.30am in Maryborough, the Wattle City Church 19 Argyle Road. Class cost is $24 for 4 cards Ok moving onto the cards themselves...... there are new Online products and I couldn't resist using some of them to create these😃  This first card uses Thankful Garden Decorative Masks ,   You are Remarkable Stamp set and the Hole Punch Trio . then this second card uses the same You Are Remarkable Stamp set, and the rather gorgeous Botanical Textures Designer Series paper and now for the twist....  The other 2 cards are "surprise cards"  You will get to pick the cards you make out of a selection😁 Don't forget to let me know if you're coming, and remember if you want to see the products I've used, click the link I...
