Something Saturday - Origami Envelopes

Image
Hi There Creators, Guess what? it's that time of the week again for Something Saturday!😃 This week I happened to be scrolling through Facebook and came across this origami envelope quick video, so I have deciphered the video (you know how they do it and it's so fast!) And I've worked out if you do it with 12x12" cardstock you get an envelope worthy of a card, and a 6x6" piece gives you a gift card sized envelope. Something Saturday - Origami Star Box

 Hi There Creators

Today I thought I'd share this Origami Star box I discovered this origami star box when one of my friends from church mentioned she'd found it in a kids book, and thought it would be fun to do with the kids for Christmas.  Of course, me being me I had to have a go at it straight away, bit of trial and error and I had it (or so I thought until the video....)  But my mistakes are your gain, as I think it probably clarifies how to create it properly (sometimes it's better to see someone else's mis"steaks"🤣 and you realise what not to do)

Anyway these are the boxes:

As I mentioned in the video, there's no way I can do "written" instructions for this, so please watch the video if you haven't!

And here are the boxes I created:

If you missed the video here it is:

I hope this inspires you to have a go (let's look on the bright side, it you probably won't make the same mistake as me🤣)

God Bless love
