Something Saturday - Click Clack Concertina Card

Image
Hi there Creators Well I was sitting last night wondering what to do for my Something Saturday, and playing around with a bit of paper, ended up designing this card, I've made similar cards before like the cascade cards, this is probably a bit more basic, but I'm happy with it and it's way simpler to create, but still packs a cool Woah factor🤣  I've used Sentimental Christmas Designer Series Paper which is on the last chance list. I decided it needed a sentiment so picked out this one from Sweetest Star Stamp set (last chance list again), because it has 6 words (1 for each panel!😃) and these Adhesive backed Snowflake Assortment are also on the last chance list and happen to be reduced to 1/2 price (woo hoo!) Ok, onto measurements.... You'll need a sheet of A4 for the base card, score it at 9.9cm either end, then cut in 1/2 at 10.5cm, fold so each piece is concertina'd into 1/3rd's then each folded piece needs a cut that goes 1/2 way up the card (in the...

Cards for March classes

 Hi there Creators,

here are the cards we'll be making in March at my classes which are Wednesday 1st at 10.30am and Thursday 2nd at 7pm in Laanecoorie (my classroom) and Saturday 4th at 10.30am in Maryborough.

First up:  I thought this was kind of an interesting almost linen look to the hexagons on this card, then I've used the Biggest Wish stamps to create the bold sayings.  To see what I used, click here:  what Heather used

Next up are the Sea turtles, I saw someone else using these and once I realised the size I decided they were worth having, I love the bright colours I've used on them, click this link to see what I used for this card: What Heather used

Sea Turtles, Stampin' Up!

Next up I do love this Watercolor World stamp so I after mentioning last month that I might use it this month (and getting a positive response....)  I've teamed it up with the Hope & Prayer stamp set, that hasn't seen much use yet, but I do love the images in it!  Check out what I used for this card here: What Heather Used

Then last but not least I couldn't go past the Love Cats!  having (kind of 4 of them ourselves I really felt like I should have this set 🤣)  I say "kind of" because 1 of them is a bit of a free loader and whilst Tom (hubby) can get close to him, he runs away from everyone else (however as he lives outside and keeps the mouse/rat population at bay, I'm ok with him freeloading on the food lol.)    You can't tell from this photo but the card has a clear middle section. Again to check out what I used click here: What Heather Used.

here's a photo to show off the middle section too (makes it a bit more interesting)

Class cost is $20 for the 4 cards, do let me know if you plan to come along, it would be great to see you 😊

If you can't make it I hope these inspire you to create.

God Bless love
