Image
Hi There Creators, Being ultra-organised (or so it feels) and putting up the cards we'll be creating at classes in August.  If you can make it, the Laanecoorie Class will be Friday 1st at 1pm, and the Maryborough one will be Saturday 2nd at 10.30am.  Let me know if you plan to be there.   Remember to click on the links below if you want to see the products in all their glory😃 First up is this card, Oh my goodness the Extraordinary Flora Bundle and Washi Tape are amazing! I've teamed it up with the Inspiring Imperfections bundle, and the Misty Moonlight two-tone cardstock .  Next up using the Inspiring Imperfections bundle again, and the funny  Long Time No See Stamp set , I couldn't resist creating a Genie in a bottle 🤣  teamed up with the words from Birthday Celebration Stamp set , and the Sweet Jar Builder Punch to create the lid Card 3 uses the hilarious Not 29 Anymore Stamp set , I knew I had to have this one as soon as I saw it! Something Saturday - What to do with your left over cut off's

 Hi there Creators

As I cleaned up my desk to do a video and wondered what I should video about, I came across a heap of cut off pieces in varying colours, and just knew what I should be doing.....

So I made the video, then got it loaded up onto my laptop and discovered it was out of focus! grrr, so the next day I tried again, which means that now I have 2 lots of cards to show you 🤣 Well at least something good came of it (plus of course I used more of my scraps)

I'll show you them in the order I made them....  this first one I thought I'd stick to 2 main colours, white and red, with green base card

thought I'd also share with you how the saying came to have a torn edge....well, I stamped it directly onto the card first, and this happened - just goes to show you should stamp the image on scrap paper first before putting ink to your main card!, so I thought never mind I'll stamp on spare card, and cut it out in a neat rectangle, ha ha! I stamped, all good, then the cutter jammed and tore the card, by which time I was a bit fed up with it, and decided it could look good with a torn edge instead lol!  As I say in class there's always a way round things

So next up I made this one:  very simple design, not much to say about it really, just that you don't have to use all the available space on the card, it's ok to leave some blanks 😃  And you gotta add some bling, in this case on my desk also happened to be the Adhesive backed seasonal sequins, and conveniently they went with all the cards I created except the last one, (by then I'd put them away!)

So after this I created this card in the first video I made (which no-one will see due to it's "out of focus'ness")  This time I went for the whole front covered, and I love the scalloped edge I was able to get by using the Penned Flowers Dies.

Then the final one that I made up in the video below, with some of the "Brushed Brass Butterflies" (try saying that heaps of times quickly in a row 🤣)  and the really really gorgeous Tahitian Tide Metallic Woven Ribbon

If you missed the video, here it is...

I hope this inspires you to dig through your scraps for the straight pieces, and have a go!

God Bless love
